Let me start by saying I already had one of these monitors and was already thrilled with it. Sharp contrast, crisp colors, and a perfect curve that makes the monitor immersive without feeling awkward. So, I wanted 3 instead of just one, so I hit up Amazon. DealParade had the goods and I placed my order, but something went wrong in the warehouse and I wound up with one correct monitor and one different model that was different enough that it wouldn't work. DealParade was quick to the rescue, though, sending me a return label within a few hours and then overnighting the correct monitor as soon as they got confirmation that I had dropped the return off at UPS.     • My renewed display has a discoloration
Good deal on the display, and the display itself is nice, but mine had a discoloration on the bottom, like from a Windows toolbar, as if the monitor was left without a screensaver for a long time. Not bothersome, but noticeable if you look closely.

    • Very Disappointing for Samsung
This is not my first Samsung Monitor but it just might be my last. I am an amateur photographer so the color gamut is very important to me. I had high hopes when I ordered this 32" curved monitor, but I was quickly disappointed as soon as I turned it on. I instantly noticed the color hue was way off and looked to have a yellow cast I thought the eye saver mode was on, but it wasn't. When I turned it on it got way yellower. I tried to adjust the color with the on-board controls but nothing made it better, only worse. I tried to adjust it with my NVIDIA Graphics card, but again nothing made it better. The dynamic range seems limited and compromised as if the contrast needs to be adjusted both directions at once. The lighter areas look as if there is a cloudy haze, at the same time the shadows are too dark and lack any detail. No adjustment of the contrast will make anything better. If I try to lighten up the shadows the highlights get washed out. If I try to darken the highlights the shadows turn inky black. Another problem is the VESA mount, which you need to purchase an optional $35 adapter to utilize, something that was not clear in the item description. And worse yet, the VESA location is at the bottom of the monitor, not the middle like most other VESA mountable monitors. This is a big problem if you use a desktop VESA stand because even at the stand's lowest setting the monitor will sit about 6" above the desk -or other monitors that happen to share the stand. Not suitable unless you like looking up at a monitor that seems almost over your head. The bottom line is this monitor is terrible. The only good thing I can say about it is there is zero edge bleed when viewing a completely black screen, and the depth of the blacks is truly inky black, better than most monitors I have viewed. Aside from the hue problem, the picture detail and clarity are OK. Sadly this is not enough to make it anywhere close to being acceptable. I use to have two screens and when we moved my office had to be downsized but I still needed the multiple screen capability so my husband ordered this for me and it works like a dream. I can turn into 4 screens which I love!
