One would figure that buying the stacking kit from the manufacturer of the laundry unit you have would guarantee a perfect fit.... Well you would be disappointed for sure. The screws it comes with to mount to the back of the washer are too small to secure the metal bracket too the back. The dryer holes are too small for any of the screws that come with the kit. The plastic legs do not clip in as described in the instructions. The screws that come to secure this are the only ones that fit properly making the plastic clip in area unnecessary. ... show more

    • Make Sure you want to stack you washer and dryer
My wife asked me to stack our Samsung washer and dryer so she would have more space in the laundry room. The plastic rails and the metal brackets did the job and securely stacked the two laundry appliances. Unfortunately, my wife failed to account for the fact that she could not see the dryer controls without using a step stool. Consequently, I had to unstack them. The stacking kit worked fine and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to stack their Samsung laundry appliances, but I would caution you to make sure there is enough space and the person doing the work can reach the controls and see the displays. ... show more

    • Perfect safety feature for stacking!
Loved that I could find this part and NOT have it be price affected by COVID!! We needed to stack our set for room to work on electricity and the panel! I may leave them stacked. I do like it stacked but my husband does not! we have a narrow washroom and this set barely fits when not stacked!

This stacking kit was very easy to install. The only problem I had was that the plastic brackets didn't solidly snap onto the washer, they hung on there but were a bit lose. One of them came off when we put the dryer on top of the washer so I had to slide the dryer further to one side to place the plastic bracket, hold it in place since one of its snap-ons broke, and slide the dryer back onto the washer. I hoped this would fit and it did! I followed the instructions and was able to attach all the pieces easily. Getting the machine on top and securing it was a different story, it was just the 2 of us lifting this and we needed to prop it onto something tall enough to move it.
