  • Perfect. <- this should be enough of a review, but I can go into a bit more detail
100% Samsung. 100% legit. Comes with 2 protectors, and I recommend that you expect to use both on your first application attempt, so if you want a reserve, buy 2 packs, which will technically give you 3 protectors in the end. One as a practice/learning experience, one as your first use, and two reserves. The kit comes with instructions, but I found that even after following them accurately, you might still mess up on the first attempt just slightly enough to want to do a redo. Application is very easy though, and took maybe 5 minutes. End results, once you figure out exactly what you're doing, is a crystal clear protector that feels exactly like the phone's screen and doesn't have the sharp edges or thickness of a tempered glass protector, nor does it have that weird rubbery texture of many cheaper protectors (like the 'self healing" protectors). Absolutely no issues with S Pen or fingerprint reader either. In fact, now that I think about it, I forgot to reprogram my fingerprints, and am having no issues whatsoever. In summary, this is THE protector you need for your S22 Ultra. It doesn't have the added benefits of a tempered glass protector, but also doesn't have the drawbacks of a plastic/rubbery one either. This, quite literally, feels and looks like you have nothing on the screen at all. A true "naked screen" experience! I want to share some tips as a final thought. Hopefully these can help anyone who needs it. TIP 1: Male sure your phone screen is 150% clean. Clean first with rubbing alcohol, then while still wet, use the provided dry pad to wipe dry. Then use the microfiber cloth to polish to a shine, and then go over the entire screen with the roundish sticker to remove any dust particles. OR use a piece of light duty packing tape, painter's tape, or gaffer's tape; NOT duct tape or anything with super sticky adhesive. You want the tape to lift off super easily and not leave adhesive residue behind. Your goal is to make the screen smooth, clean, and "polished." Note too that I did my application on the floor, and I have a dog who sheds pretty bad. Doing all this, I still got a perfect application on my second try TIO 2: On the first couple steps when you apply the center adhesive section, make sure that the camera cutout is lined up correctly over the phone's camera before pressing the center section of the protector down. You'd think this would be self-explanatory, but I didn't think of it at first. TIP 3: So many people in the reviews are complaining about the edges not sticking. I'm not experiencing any issues like this at all. Yes, they don't really stick down at first, but once you remove the final clear protective layer, you can lay the edges down perfectly fine. TIP 4: To avoid weird air bubbles and/or lines, first use the soft edge of the squeegee to lay everything down. Then go over the entire protector with the hard edge after being adhered. Remove the outer/final layer of the protector, and use your fingers to lay down the edges. Run your fingers over the edge from a center of screen - to -edge motion. Don't go from top of phone to bottom or vice versa. Once the edge is layer down, use the hard edge of the squeegee again to firmly (don't be afraid of scratching the protector) stick the protector down. This will cleat away the whitish lines you will see under the protector (the lines are because the protector isn't 100% stuck down. Before doing this step, it's mostly stuck down, but the white lines are micro sections that are just barely touching the screen). When you're done, you shouldn't see any white lines anymore, and you can then use the hard edge of the squeegee to gently, but firmly go over the edges (again, in a waterfall style). Finally, clean with rubbing alcohol. You may see a very slight line at this point under the protector. As long as it isn't white and you only see it under direct light, it's ok. Mine was like this and they've vanished after a day or so. TIP 5: go slow and steady. The whole process will take about 5 minutes, even going slow. But don't be afraid to use one of the protectors as a test (mentioned earlier in my review). If you mess up on the first attempt, I recommend just proceeding with the install in order to try out all the other steps. Afterwards, just peel away the messed up attempt, and go at it again, but using what you've just learned. My first mistake was not lining up the front camera correctly. Second mistake was not understanding how to remove the white lines under the protector. I used my first (slightly misaligned) attempt to learn how to remove these lines without fear of ruining the application. TIP 6: YOU'VE GOT THIS!!!! ... show more

  • It seems like an easy install…….
Ok, now I’m not sure if it’s because I decided to buy the “open box like new” ones from the Amazon Warehouse but the one I received was bad and I don’t know if the discounted ones are a bad batch or if all of these by Samsung are bad. I’m going with the “bad batch” option because the whole reason I went with these was because of a discussion on Reddit about these being great screen protectors that fit the phone perfectly and do not have that hideous fingerprint circle on them. So about my issue and why I say these discounted ones may be a bad a bad batch. The install starts out easy enough. You have this black cradle that has a sticky on it so you peel the sticky and rest your phone inside of it. Easy. Then the screen film has three peelable sections. At the bottom there are these extended tabs with cut outs. You are supposed to line up those cutouts with some conveniently aligned protrusions on the black cradle the bottom of your phone is resting in. First though, you need to peel off the middle blue strip so you have a nice adhesive line to stick to your screen. Once you have that strip peeled off you line the cutouts of the film with the pieces sticking out on the cradle, then you press the film against the screen where the adhesive strip is. It seems easy and it was easy and everything seemed to go perfectly. From the adhesive line, you then use the squeegee blade thing they give you to slowly press the protector against the screen. You make sure to raise the bottom of the blue film a touch so as you push forward it peels away leaving the screen protector perfectly placed on the screen. Or so you think. When I finished it seemed to be perfect until I got to the camera and the Circle cutout in the screen film does not line up with the camera lens so the film covered half of the camera lens. Everything was perfect except for the camera cutout. This leads me to believe the openbox like new batch may be defective. So I decided to peel the screen protector off and free hand it like I’ve done a jillion times before because you can still use the protector but you can not use the cradle thing and have the protector lined up with those holes because the camera cutout is not correctly cut into th film, which is a manufacturers defect. I’m any case I tried to peel it off and guess what? It ripped. It is very thin film and apparently very fragile film. Well not to be deterred, I figured ok, let’s try again. See the good thing is you get two screen protectors in the box so I tried the process again only this time when I used the cradle piece stuck the strip to the phone I checked to make sure the camera cut out would line up but no, it does not. These ones I received are definitely defective. So I decided just to free hand the application and not use the cradle piece at all. Unfortunately though, it just wasn’t happening, I only peeled off the top segment of the screen protector and got it lined up perfectly but it just has way too many bubbles. Mind you I apply my screen protectors in a misted bathroom with minimal clothing so my screen and air were lint free. The screen protector bubbles if you free hand it and you can’t use the cradle because the camera cut out was not properly cut into the film so when you install using the cradle, you get an easy bubble free install but half the camera lens is covered. Again, I can’t say if I had paid full price for one of these if I would have had camera cut out issues but with these discounted ones I ordered from the Amazon Warehouse, it came with a manufacturer defect and so I will be returning them. ... show more

  • Best Screen Protector For The S22 Ultra!
This is easily the best screen protector for the S22 Ultra! The instructions for installation were pretty easy to follow. The package has a QR code on the back for a video link to watch if your a more visual person like I am. I followed the video step by step and had no problems getting the screen protector on first try, no bubbles, no misalignment, just right! The screen sensitivity is still perfect, no weird fingerprint bubble like some screen protector designs have and this protector applies nicely to the sides too! My biggest complaint is perhaps the black plastic thing to help align the protector which was supposed to have a sticky spot to hold the phone absolutely didn't hold the phone. However it still helped align everything perfectly so I'd say it still did about 70% of its job so I give it a pass. Overall a really good product! ... show more
