After the charger that originally comes with the watch decided to stop working, I ordered a generic replacement.     • Use The Supplied Wall Charger
Had this offered as a gift when i purchased the Samsung wireless buds+ .. I tried plugging it into a different wall charger and even a 3.0 usb and the unit would not charge. I continually got a blinking yellow light now matter how i placed my phones or what settings i changed {due to recommendations on the web}. When i plugged into the supplied wall charger that came in the box with the unit, it now charges fine. I am not using the supplied charging cord. I am using a heavy duty 8 footer i bought off of amazon. The supplied cord is a thin 3 footer. The cord does not seem to make a difference. That being said, full charge in 1.5 hrs as opposed to a standard 3 hr charge for my Samsung S8+ on other unauthorized chargers. Hope this helps. ... show more

    • Great little charger
While this is great for traveling I have mounted one under a section of my desk. The desk is wood and I hollowed out a place for this to fit leaving 1/4" of material between the top of the charger and the top of the desk. I do have to keep in mind how thick of a case or not being able to use a pop socket and keep the ability to charge but that is just small things for the convenience of a charger no one sees. No wires showing... it is just perfect. Thinking about doing the same to my nightstand but that is only if I can get permission to cut a section from the underside of the table from my wife. :) ... show more

    • Works with included power adapter and cord, but not with other adapters/cords
Samsung's wireless charging pad works well with my new Note 10+ phone. It charges the phone from 10% to fully charged in only 80 minutes, and the Note 10+ has big battery. The pad is stable, and the rubberized base and phone surfaces make sure neither the charger nor the phone slip around while in use. However, the charger pad is VERY particular about how you plug it into the power source. It works perfectly with the Samsung wall power adapter and USB-A to C cord provided with the charger. It also works with the Samsung fast charge wall adapter and USB-C to C cord which came with my Samsung Note 10+. But any other adapter/cord combination is likely to fail, causing the charging pad LED to blink orange even before the phone is placed on the charger. My reliable Anker fast charge smart adapter will not power the charging pad using any cord, not even the Samsung cords. Conversely, the Samsung power adapters do not work if I change to a non-Samsung cord. The supplied 3-ft Samsung cord is too long for my desk, but after trying three different shorter, good quality USB cords I have been unable to find one that works; longer cords also fail. I contacted Samsung, and was courteously told that the instructions say to use only the adapter and cord provided. They are perfectly correct, and in this case they seem to mean it ... ... show more

    • Can work with phone case and pop-socket!
So far this thing is awesome! It seems like a main reason why some folks don't want to use a wireless charger is because their not compatible with a pop-socket, ring, or thick cases. But we can make this work! Since this device is so small, I simply moved my phone ring socket a bit lower to the bottom of my phone, so that this charger alignes directly with the middle of my Note 10 plus. You could do the same with a pop-socket. Since I have a Spigen dual layer case, it seemed as if the wireless charger signal could be improved if I take the outer hard plastic case off. But we want the protection of the dual layer case, including the inner rubber and outer hard-shell case! So I simply positioned my phone on this charger to see where it charges the best, took note of that area, and then I cut out a circular area in my rubber inner phone case with scissors, so that the wireless charger could communicate with my phone easier and perhaps charge quicker. You would want to be sure not to cut any area of the OUTER diameter of the inner rubber Spigen like phone lining, to keep an original seal around the camera, volume or power buttons. Now that we have cut out a circular area out of our inner double layer Spigen type case which matches up with where the wireless charger can charge your phone, we can attach our outer hard plastic phone case to our inner rubber dual layer phone case. This on my Spigen dual layer phone case, will allow wireless charging on my Note 10 plus with the dual layer case ON! AND I get to keep my phone ring/pop-socket too! Plus, a 2" diameter circle cut out of your inner rubber dual layer case will decrease heat buildup on your phone, as your phone will now have an air pocket to be able to disburse heat! Best thing is, with a little cutting out of the inner rubber phone case lining, NFC tags will also work through a double layer Spigen like case also! ... show more

    • give it a second..
its not instantaneous. You have to set it down and let it sit for a second or too so the charger can find the phone's battery signal. once the yellow light comes on it will start the charging process. If your phone does not acknowledge the charging, move the phone around till it does. They work well and are very fast. some cases can affect the signal. But if thats the case try just letting it sit for a few more seconds. I have three of these chargers by samsung. Ill never go back to wired charging again. ... show more
