I tend to stay with Samsung the way Apple people stay with Apple. 9/10 you know you're getting an upgrade whenever you upgrade. OK, that said, I'm not hard on my devices and I always buy 2 years behind, after all updates in software have happened. For being 2 years (2 versions) behind the flagship, it is amazing. Especially for the sub $700 price. Though it's missing a headphone jack, it does everything that I can think of. The pictures though......next level from the note 9. Pros - camera - audio - software/compatibility - feels hi tech. Cons - no headphone jack - thumbprint reader is under the screen, in a crappy place. - volume rocker on the bad side of the phone (A change I definitely don't support after over a decade of phones) The cons are minor though, I guess the superior camera could not share space with a fingerprint reader. You actively have to face the phone to be sure you position your fingers correctly. Anyway, this thing is great. If you want a damn good phone, which will hold you over for a while, this phone will surprise you everyday. Thanks for reading! ... show more
