After buying a different off brand cheap sound bar, I decided to return that one and buy this one. It was a great decision. I love Samsung Electronics. They always are great quality and built to last. This sound bar is very easy to install and I really like that the subwoofer connects wirelessly. That was a big reason why I purchased this in the first place, not having to run a cord across the living room is so convenient. The bass is awesome. We love playing music on this now. Also having subwoofer control on the remote is really nice. Especially when you are switching between playing music, a movie, or a video game. The advanced sound settings are just another plus with this too. With the ability to adjust bass, treble, subwoofer level, voice enhancer, night mode, and audio sync.     • The Soundbar is Good, the Technical Service is Horrible
Every review I read, said if you have a Samsung TV, the pairing is easy. That’s not true and after talking to two Samsung technicians, I ended up with a TV with no sound and the recommendation that the soundbar be returned as defective. Samsung maintained the ridiculous proposition that the sound “just went out” on my tv and it had nothing to do with the two hours spent with the technicians. I was offered a new tv at approximately 2x over retail, which I rejected. Then a manager offered the same tv for $300 less, which I bought because my existing tv was useless. After explaining this situation to an audiophile friend, he suggested that he take a look at it. In 10 minutes, he had the soundbar working. It did not work with Bluetooth or the optical/audio cord provided by Samsung, but it worked perfectly with a gold optical/audio cord, I purchased separately. The technicians couldn’t get it to work with the gold cord either. I don’t usually write such long reviews and actually omitted a lot of detail regarding my experience with the technicians and the manager. All this had nothing to do with the age of my tv, because I tried the soundbar with my new tv and it worked with the method my friend used and not the Samsung instructions. If you buy one of these devices, beware that the tech advice will not be of help to you. Very disappointing experience with an upper end manufacturer. ... show more

    • Great basic TV sound bar and subwoofer! Instructions are terrible.
What a nice product. This soundbar system more than meets my expectations. Easy to set and and pair. The remote control is a bit odd though, as the controls look like buttons but are actually toggles than you press up or down to control volume, etc. The Instructions are extremely basic and pretty much suck, so you on your own if you need help.     • Awesome sound bar, great value
Love the new sound bar; this was my first such purchase, so I don't have anything to compare to but loved the new clear full sound especially with the subwoofer on and watching a good action movie like the new Top Gun. Got a great value from the prime day so it was comparable in price to other lesser known brands. Instructions could have been a little more clear on syncing up the subwoofer since its wireless. Apparently it must have synched up automatically while I was reading the instructions to manually connect it but it was already connected, so the blinking signal lights weren't behaving as expected. But when I realized my mistake and tried the sound it worked fine. Basically if the blue light is on its already connected (automatically). Maybe that's how they all work now. I do wish the remote was slightly larger to hold in your hand and a more traditional +/- volume control. Otherwise no serious complaints. I'm sure everyone will love it. I was also pleased it came with its own optical cable which the listing didn't say so I thought I'd need to buy one; so I was able to save a few bucks there. ... show more

    • Easy setup. Decent sound.
Works perfect for what I wanted. If you want something strictly for music, this isn’t it. The bass is very standard, and there really isn’t much control over the audio output. However, after I read the reviews and description I figured this would be perfect for what I needed, and I was absolutely correct! It’s used strictly as a sound bar for my TV, and to listen to my podcast while cleaning, doing laundry, and other household tasks. It connects super easily through Bluetooth or USB to my iPhone, and to my tv with only one cord. (My old surround sound used like 3 cords to connect to my tv, and an old timey audio (headphone Jack) for my phone). So this is definitely a much needed update, and I’m extremely satisfied with the results considering what I paid for it. ... show more

I have a Samsung smart TV and this works seamlessly. When you turn in the tv it automatically turns on and can be controlled by my tv remote. It hooks up to the tv via Bluetooth so no cords to plug in besides the power cords. The only time I have to use the remote that came with it is if I hook up my phone to play music via Bluetooth.     • Does not work properly
The subwoofer part of this sound bar does not work. Additionally, the quality of the sound is poor. I have spent hours on the phone with Samsung trying to resolve this or make use of the warranty but they keep telling me my “ticket” is pending. I would avoid this sound bar.
