So far this skate has worked great for my daughter who is leaning to skate. We played with adjusting it before actually sharpening the blade, so I would recommend that. These skates are amazing. They’re adjustable for 4 size and easy to put on. The most important thing I like is that they come with the teeth on the front end of the ice blade which make the beginner not easy to fall down.

Great skates that are possibly a little larger than I expected. We had adjustable skates from another manufacturer that my daughter just recently outgrew. These were the next step up but have LOTS of room even on the smallest setting which seemed odd to us. They sharpen well and she is comfortable so we just have her wear extra socks and tighten the laces as much as possible. They seem well made. ... show more

I was skeptical about adjustment skates, but these are awesome. They tie, Velcro, and buckle and that gives me peace of mind when he is on the ice. I tie the lice then put the loops in the Velcro so they don’t come loose. Very easy to put on and tighten. My son does not complain of sore feet afterwards and loves having his very own pair of skates :) ... show more

I was skeptical at first about this skate because it seemed too good to be true... size adjustable, relatively well priced, and pretty good looking too. But I am pleasantly surprised. My son’s kegs are pretty stable in them, and they’ve held up pretty well so far. In addition, they’re far easier to put on and take off than “regular” hockey skates so that’s a plus. My daughter loves these adjustable skates. They are easy to put on by herself (she's 9) and easy to take off. We can adjust them so she can get use out of them for a couple years!
