I've been a lifelong Samsung user. I've had their Galaxy Note, s2, s8, fold3 and now switched to the Flip 7. I loved the Fold3 but screen ended up not opening all the way and felt a bit heavy in the pockets. I needed something small and light. Amazon had a $200 gift card deal for flip 7 pre-orders, so that looked good to me. Once I got it, it's pretty good. Feels premium. The battery life is good. Durability is good so far. Time will tell if it holds up better than my fold3. I like using the smaller screen for games and browsing the web. It's also an easier way for me to view and change what I'm listening to rather than opening up the phone. Camera is good too. People get impressed when they see themselves on the selfie screen. I can't wait for the next version to make the outer screen like a regular smart phone instead of it currently relying on apps and widgets to be installed using big screen. Next version should also make the mini screen text friendly. I can send messages using it but it takes up the majority of the screen. Can't really see replies. One downside is that the connection drops. My mobile data symbol sometimes show a circle ⭕ with a line though it even when I'm in a good service area. Doesn't happen often though which is good. One of the functions I like is when I'm watching a YouTube video on the small screen, the volume up and down button get swapped, and works like it was intended. Volume down on big screen would be volume up when it's closed. I love that they thought of that. In the end, it's a great value for anyone looking for a minimal phone. ... show more

This phone is worth every penny! I am upgrading from a 6 year old Samsung Galaxy (non-flagship) phone and the Z Flip 7 is the upgrade I needed! This is my first "flip" phone since my Motorola back in the 90s so this is definitely a new and exciting experience for me. I've done lots of research prior to purchasing and can confidently say I made the right choice for my first foldable! Right out the box, everything from the look and feel, to the satisfaction you get from flipping and closing the phone; the Galaxy Z Flip 7 is pure luxury! Functionality is premium and what you'd expect from a flagship Samsung device and the features seem never-ending. I've been with Samsung for most of my cellular life and couldn't be more pleased to have this unlocked beaut in my possession! If you're on the fence, take the leap and dive into the future of smartphones with the Galaxy Z Flip 7! Thanks to Amazon for providing me with the monthly pay option so I could be able to snag this gem before Christmas. It's a great phone, I love the flip feature (obviously) and after being on iPhone for 15 years it's a welcome change and a great way to bring back memories of those old phones I had growing up that opened all kinds of weird ways and were fun. The cover screen to me isn't overly useful however, and I found myself leaving the phone open most of the time unless it was in my pocket walking around so I could actually use the phone normally when I needed. That being said though, having 90% of my usage time on the softer more delicate screen made me overly cautious with the phone all the time and I worried more about damaging the screen than I wanted to. The typing experience in the cover screen is rough and after some though I decided to swap out the flip with the fold and am absolutely loving it. Having a normal hard, full size, functional, and protected screen on the screen for normal texts or whatever makes the fold feel much more normal when closed but when I want to watch content or work on things I can open it and have so much space for multitasking and doing whatwver I want. It's a bit more than the flip, but if you are looking for a fun phone with that footprint the flip is great, just not 100% it for me as much as I was hoping it would be. It's also pretty chunky in the pocket once you get a case on it and fold it, the fold is much more manageable of a footprint overall. ... show more

I've owned a Z Flip since 4 came out. I love that this phone fits in the palm of my hand. Only drawback is the battery. It lasts a little longer than a day, so I charge it every night.

The media could not be loaded. So far, the item is great and very practical. Main display seems slightly frail, but I think it can still hold up with long term use. Bettery life seems better than expected. Durability factor will be tested more in the long term, but I got a great case for it I'm the meantime. It doesn't overheat as much under heavy use as some people said. The Exynos chipset is not slow at all and can definitely compete with other modern devices. It's no Snapdragon, but it's certainly quick and worth the money which is a pleasant surprise. The camera is totally fine. People are comparing it to the S25 Ultra camera or an iPhone pro camera when they need to compare it to a base model S25 or iPhone. It will suffice for most needs. It doesn't have ultra wideband. But that's something that most people won't notice or miss. The blue color is the absolute best and perfect. It's an eye catching color. Being able to flip to answer and end calls brings back a wonderful feeling of nostalgia from my old flip phones of 2 decades ago. Make sure you get the Samsung Care insurance with it. ... show more

Switched from iOS to android with this purchase and I am pleased! Easy to connect with an eSim. My favorite part of this phone is the cover screen! Unlock it with a code or fingerprint; easy as 123. You can add so many apps and use the cover for pretty much everything. Camera quality is A1! Love taking selfies with the phone closed, and the "raise your hand" feature makes it easy to take photos. Also, I love the coral color! It's a slim feel without the case, but a bit bulky with a protector. I would rather keep my phone safe so case it is for me.
