I love this watch. Huge Upgrade over my Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. Definitely starts up much faster and the battery life is great. After an 8 hour shift at work with the heart rate monitor constantly running, I only use about 15% battery. Extremely easy to connect to my Galaxy S23 Ultra with a very sleek appearance and looks nice on my wrist. I also wear it to the gym and it connects to the treadmill very easily with the NFC Reader and gives accurate results. Size is perfect for me, not too big as others mentioned, but not too small. Perfect middle ground, at least for me. Got it for 35% off and I'm glad I did. Cheaper and better than the Watch 6 Classic I bought a few years ago. This watch is amazing, I'm absolutely loving it. I had a cheaper no brand one and for the most part it did what I wanted it to do. But I've wanted a Samsung for awhile. I love everything Samsung but they are pricey. I have a Samsung phone and a Samsung TV. I was lucky enough to get this watch cheaper on Prime Day. I've had it two weeks now and I'm still figuring everything out. It does so many things, things I didn't even know even a Smart Watch could do. And it doesn't constantly disconnect from my phone. It has alarms and a timer and the weather and I just figured out I can turn my lights and TV on and off. Pause and play and next song my music. I can Cast Hulu, Netflix etc to the TV on my phone and Play and pause that on it also. With so many watch faces to choose from that can display the time the date the temperature the battery status at a glance, plus you can click on each of those and it opens the program so you can view it full screen. Plus you can add a lot of google apps on it as well. I'm just so impressed with this watch, I could go on and on about it but I won't. I would have given it 10 stars if I could. ... show more

Great look and fit. It took a while to understand all the setting but once I had it setup the way I wanted, it is an awesome watch. I get a little over 3 days battery life. It charges fairly quickly but I would advise keeping a power bank on hand if you travel frequently

I can go 3 days 1 hour without a charge but I charge every 2nd day. I don't really tinker with it. The occasional text message. It does use more battery if you leave your phone behind and map your runs while listening to music on your Bluetooth head phones, that's to be expected.

Very high quality watch, easy to read superior resolution, easy setup, highly recommend. Upgrade from ticwatch pro 5 enduro which was defective after less than 2 years of use, and discontinued so repair is not worth the trouble and expense.

Very fast and responsive, latest available OS makes a big difference. Integration with Android phone is much more refined and polished. Battery life is definitely better than the non Ultra 8 model. I know this because I bought that one also for my wife (it's slimmer), it also works well, but seems to need a daily charge. The ultra can get me 1.5 days with my typical use. The body and heart sensors seem to be stable. I love the default watch face as it is very configurable with colors, complications, and apps. If you edit it up to your liking, you might be surprised, I was. Seems to be quality built, time will tell. Works well in Bluetooth mode, Wi-Fi and 4G LTE cell eSim use without phone. Auto switching to cell data when phone out of range, doesn't use extra battery to maintain cell link if it is unnecessary. Very clear audio speaker and Mic. The audio speaker is a fuller more natural sound on the Ultra compared to the standard Galaxy Watch 8 version. Also final thought to consider, the Ultra has a larger diameter watch band that fits my wrist with 3 holes to spare in the band. The standard 8 has a much smaller band, it felt like a tourniquet on my wrist, and could barely get it into the last hole. I learned this trying to set it up for my less technical wife. Band is so small, I doubt any normal or even slender man would be able to use it. Big fail on product testing for US market there. Otherwise great watches. ... show more

It's a pretty cool watch. I like how it detects naps and pretty much syncs up with your phone even without the Bluetooth on. I don't use it for calling unless it's connected through Bluetooth. I like the design, but it's overall a huge watch. Because it's so big it's uncomfortable at times. It's not a problem at work but when you go to bed it's definitely noticeable. I've been having to loosen it a notch for bed or it's too tight and then when I wake up, have to tighten it again. I was really hoping for a longer battery life, but it only lasts about 2 days max. I don't really use the GPS function or phone calls and I even keep off the always-on display. For the price I would have liked the battery to last longer. It is also advertised that you can use your phone battery sharing option to charge the watch, but that is not true. When you attempt to charge it with your phone it says that the charger is incompatible. So, don't lose the charger! It was really easy to set up. Not sure it is worth $800 though. ... show more
