I waited for the Pixel Watch because I loved its aesthetic and I used to be a fan of the Google/Pixel biome. I returned it because I was sorely disappointed in how limited it was, both in how it performed and the customization options available. Google dropped the ball, but Samsung had it right (3 years in advance while we're at it; bought this in 2022) with the Galaxy Watch Active 2. Battery lasts me two days with the Always-on display active. Samsung also offers free software to create your own custom watch face (note there are two separate versions, one for this watch and another for newer models), and there are apps to get remote camera (picture and video) operation going with your Android phone. Watch occasionally loses always-on display but it's very infrequent, definitely not often enough to consider an actual problem. Whenever I'm ready for a new smart watch I'll shop Samsung.

I love but product but do not understand why the sleep tracking is inaccurate when using Samsung Health app. Last night it registered 2.34 hours of sleep. Maybe I need to contact Samsung. Otherwise, love the product.

The BOTTOM LINE: After less than one year, the battery-charging and watch-discharging have become so erratic that I cannot count on any of the many features even being available. Coming from the generation before computers existed, I struggled to figure out all of the many functions and capabilities of a "smartwatch." Much as I became proficient with computers, it took me longer than younger colleagues to learn many of the multiple-button-pushing algorithms of the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2. What completely disappoints me is that my watch no longer charges OR holds a charge in ANY predictable way. I simply have elected not to use the watch for anything more than a silent wake-up alarm and I then take it off and put it on the charger until the next night (hoping it will be charged but often finding that it has not). Where can I seek assistance?

The SAMSUNG Galaxy Watch Active 2 worked great for about 7 months. Then the battery depleted quickly and now, after owning it for 11 months, it will not hold a charge! For $220+, I expected the watch to last longer. I will NOT buy another Samsung watch!

If you always keep the watch blue toothed to your phone, the battery life will last about a day &1/2. If you use it as a stand alone it will over heat after about 20-40 min. shut off and drain you battery. It will make phone calls on its own, but the signal is not as good. Not very impress with this for the price. I've been disappointed with it.

The battery barely lasts 2 days when I don't use it for anything but texts. If I use more features it only lasts a day.

Great watch! I wanted to get this mainly for the health features like the Ekg/ Ecg, blood pressure, fall detection. I read a lot of reviews that mentioned EKG doesn't work. Please google and do the required update in the your phone's Wearable and Samsung health monitor app for Ekg. EKG/ECG works great! Blood pressure monitoring works great as well once ypu set up with the MyBPlab app. I have a Samsung S9 ( Not a tech savvy person) and all yhe features works perfect except Blood oxygen on the watch. That being said my phone can measure blood oxygen so I am all covered. Very happy with purchase ππ

I love the size it's not too bulky! I will totally order new wristbands as I prefer mine slightly thinner! The health app is awesome! Which is one of the main things I use it for.
