Delivered a day early, well protected, double boxed and inside a bubble wrap sleeve. When i first took it out the battery was flat so i plugged in a USB C To C cable and it started charging at about 15 watts, after 10 minutes it indicated a positive charge. Later on i signed on & did a bunch of updates all the way up to Android 16 & the not so popular Samsung interface updates. Nevertheless i got this for my wife and she loves it (happy wife happy life ya know) It's condition is like brand new right out of the factory, software interface states battery is at 100%, fast Snapdragon 8 core CPU, 8 Gigs Ram, 256 GB internal HD, & a super nice AMOLED display a great device at a Five Star price.

After having it for a month, it is a great (and large) tablet! It is renewed, but the only issue would be a couple of scrathes on the screen. Otherwise it seems like it was brand new! The screen is beautiful (except for two scratches and a dent) and is blindingly bright. Battery life is a little funky at times but it lasts for a little more than a day. Performance is also great and snappy. The packaging was good and the tablet was wrapped in big bubble warpping in a box inside the shipping box. As stated in teh listing, it came with a generic charger and cable. So far both work well. Also came with a geniunie Samsung Spen. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase!

fabulous graphics..; also marvelous for reading on kindle app.. the size of the tablet is huge, but it's not unwieldy or heavy or hard to hold on to as I thought it would be when looking at it for the first time.. it's very light but yet feels durable and strong. i have had quite a few tablets over the years from cheap ones I had purchased for my children when they were young, to mid range as they grew into teens.. then a few years ago I got a nice huawei tablet for my personal use and it was very nice. This tablet is by far superior in every way imo. First off it comes with a 11200 battery that only took about 2 hours to charge to full.. then i was on it for several hours and it had only used about 25% of the full charge.. I was very impressed with that battery life. The setup was easy and fast, there were no problems. the wifi connection IS super maxing out my internet speed, so my downloads were blazing fast,.. I had my kindle library and apps and a UI update all installed in under 20 minutes. I especially like that the brightness of tablet is so vivid and bright as I have eyesight issues that laser surgery and lens implants have not addressed so some screens can be hard on my eyes. I would highly recommend this tablet to anyone it is awesome!

I have ordered several tablets, a PC, iPads, MS Surfaces...just a LOT of renewed products from Amazon. When it says it is in excellent condition, it is. Now, this tablet. This is just a thing of beauty. I love my Samsung tablets. I was actually unaware until recently that they had a 14.6 inch version of this tablet. It is just perfect. This is a great product and seller for an s8 ultra more that samsung is now on the s11 the product is lights out. I got the refurbished s8 ultra 512 gb (excellent condition) and when I opened the box the screen had a single streak of blue light going through the board. I took a picture and and processed the refund. Amazon label was set up for me to pay for shipping. I reached out to the company and they sent me a label that covered the shipping. I only wanted a replacement but they only do refunds. So I ordered a 2nd and they shipped right away. For being 3 years old this tablet looks and functions brand new. And they sent my refund right away. Communicated and was helpful through the entire process. And not to mention it's $100 cheaper for (refurbished excellent condition) than I could find anywhere else. BUY WITH CONFIDENCE!

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra has been in use by me for quite some time, and even the renewed model feels and behaves like a flagship tablet. Condition & Setup: In fact, the tablet came in great condition. There were no scratches on the screen, and the casing is in excellent condition. The battery life is great; there are no drains on the battery or overheating. In a refurbished product, this is impressive. Display & Performance: One of the best things about the tablet is its 14.6-inch AMOLED display. The colors pop, the blacks are rich, and the high refresh rate makes the experience of scrolling and switching between apps very fluid. Watching a video, reading a book, or using multiple apps side by side feels like a treat. The performance is fast and responsive. The apps open quickly, multitasking is smooth, and there is no delay when switching between apps used for work or entertainment. The 256GB of storage space is sufficient for storing files, applications, and downloads. Productivity & Everyday Use: The screen on the tablet makes the split-screen and multi-window experience quite useful. It feels more like a laptop to me, rather than a tablet, which makes the experience very useful. It can be used for note-taking, browsing, video chatting, and consuming other types of online content. Audio & Build Quality: The sound system has clear and full sound, excellent volume, and it is a pleasure to watch movies and video chat without needing additional speakers. The material and workmanship give a premium feel – thin, solid, and well-proportioned. The Value of the Renewed Option: The fact that it was a refurbished one was a very good value. After Year 1: I still love it and use it regularly alongside other devices. Using it with a Samsung phone clearly amplifies its value. As a second screen for a laptop is mostly overkill. I also found an official Samsung keyboard cover case on sale cheap from Best Buy, and highly recommend it if you can purchase sub$100. My regular case with unattached Mac keyboard was fine, but having the magnetic catch, the Dex options built into the custom keys, and a slim, tight, solid build really do add style and usefulness while keeping the bundle together. Former response below.... FIRST MONTH: I'm still really pleased with the device. It was a great purchase, and it continues to add a great deal of productivity to my digital+physical tool set. I have since decided to pair it with a Samsung phone, and the synergistic effects are further enhanced. The screen quality for video, and the speakers on this device are incredible. It is so much better to watch video, including time spent on training and learning material, on this device than through a laptop. The one caveat however is that if you can have both operating side by side, using the tablet as a second screen, it's really good. There are a couple of apps besides the native sharing that help with latency challenges when moving a mouse across a computer screen to the tablet as a second screen. Overall, however, it would be a very expensive second screen, which is why that is a very light benefit of this device in my opinion. As mentioned in my original review, my primary desire was to have a great writing tablet, and this is that. I have a strong work ThinkPad, which also has a stylus and touch screen. It is great as well, but the experience to be enjoyed with writing on the Samsung tablet, is endurable. That in my opinion is especially important when you think about needing to write for long periods of time, and needing to be able to write across applications, and needing to mark up different kinds of documents. Again, synchronization with the Samsung phone line from the final Note to the newer S ultra versions is unmatched. I'm really pressed at times to determine whether I will use my laptop or the tablet, and I would have never blinked to always use the laptop in the past. Of course, I have forced myself in the initial weeks to only use the tablet in order to determine if it's really a useful workhorse or merely a peripheral device that will get used from time to time. Ease of adoption has me expecting the former. ORIGINAL: Most of the time someone is buying a device like this they are extremely concerned about the value they may be receiving, and so they have likely done a significant amount of research if they are buying for themselves for work or some kind of professional endeavor. That is the audience that I'm writing this review for. Before purchasing this device I spent a great deal of time and effort researching the S7 and 8 series of tabs as well as the Apple iPad pro lines from the last few years and the more recent iPad Air line. I also spent a bit of time searching the various purchasing platforms for both new used renewed and refurbished versions of these devices. I ultimately decided as one can see from this review on purchasing through Amazon with their renewed program - part of the reason was that I wanted to get a refurbished or certified version of the device if I was not going to purchase new and I also wanted to use up gift cards that I had. Thus I needed a platform which could meet both of those needs. I chose to go with the middle tier 256 GB hard drive and 12 GB ram configuration of the device, given that you can increase the virtual ram with the RAM Boost function by another 8 GB, which uses the hard drive to supplement additional RAM. The device came in near perfect condition. There was a small scuff of less than a centimeter on the back of the device and there were two hairline scratches of about a half centimeter each on the screen of the device. However they were only viewable when the screen is turned off and held at an angle with light reflecting upon those areas to view them. Only one of them could be barely felt by gliding the back of a fingernail over the screen to see if it could be felt. Upon receiving the device I immediately cleaned it and applied a full screen glass protector as well as a case to the device. As for the device itself it is a bit more unwieldy than other devices and tablets that I have owned and or used. That being said with the case on the device and holding the base at my chest level I could walk around while reading the screen without great discomfort for a prolonged period of time. However for those who want to hold the device in a hand alone then this would likely be too heavy and large of a tablet for that activity. I have used and plan to continue using the device on a flat surface the most of the time that I'm using it however with the right case it can easily be held in a lap in the landscape mode. The device charges extremely fast with the correct chargers and the correct functions for charging turned on in the settings for the device. More than likely upon turning the device on you will need to engage in several software updates that dramatically improve the device is functioning. The s pen has a robust feature set and integrates seamlessly in device usage for applications across the Galaxy in Google play spectrum. My overall cost for supplementary accessories including the charger the case and the screen protectors was around 60 to $70. I did not purchase a keyboard because I already had one, however you would definitely want to purchase one, and I would recommend one of the old Bluetooth Apple keyboards from several years ago. And, the cost of the device was sub$1k.
