This tablet has all the horsepower to even replace the desktop. I use it when I have meetings at the local coffee shop. Battery is long lasting, Screen is great. I have a samsung keyboard case and run Samsung dex when using the keyboard. I believe updates are for at least 4 years.

The magnets are strong so your tablet won't go anywhere unless you make it. The quality is ok I just wish it had Backlit keys. That's my only complaint and it arrived with us keys on keyboard.

Seems very sturdy, the magnet that holds the tablet upright is STRONG. My only complaint is that of others - the display on the number keys isn't US layout. For example, there's no "#" on the 3 key and no "^" on the 6.

bought the s8 tab at Christmas, and spent a lot of time researching the model vs. some newer products from Samsung and competitors. I was really blown away by the performance and features of the S8. I have had a lot of tablets, and this if by far the best I have used. The Tab S8 was the 2022 top-of-line model, and after using it and comparing the added features of the Tab S9, I think the significant price difference is worth saving some money. ... show more

The keyboard is amazing, but it is NOT the keyboard in the photo advertised. I have attached a photo of the keyboard I was sent. I WILL buy another with the correct keys on the keyboard.

It's snaps into place super easily! The keyboard is nice to type on, it's very compact and versatile, I absolutely love it! Definitely recommend it if your want to use your tablet like a smaller version of a lap top, this is perfect!

    • Works great but it's definitely a cheaply made product.
If I could do it over, honestly I would have rather have bought a better made Quality Made aftermarket case with a Mouse Pad option. This case is pretty flimsy. I would trust it to protect the tablet if dropped. Also if dropped the keyboard would most likely break. The keyboard side of the case will flex just from the weight of the tablet. 😔 I don't feel it was remotely worth the $70.00+ Tax that what I paid for it. And it was on-sale. I can't believe that Samsung claims it's worh $140.00. Update: I have now purchased a keyboard with a much more sturdy case I got for this Galaxy Tab S8 that was less than $40.00 and has a "mouse track pad" too. Samsung builds some decent stuff but their products went from being the best to less then Average in my and many others opinion since around 2020. I won't be buying any more Brand New Flagship Products. I will wait and buy items that are a Year or Two Old. As they no longer Worth the INSANE Price's that Samsung and Apple are charging people nowadays. And they products have literally Doubled in Price too. Im absolutely done with Name Brand stuff that's built inferior and sold and high Prices. ... show more
