It's good to have one of Samsung"s premium tables. The display is vivid and easy on the eyes. The battery life isn't as good as my Samsung S20 Note Ultra, but of course this tablet has a much larger display. Occasionally, it is unresponsive to touch interaction, but on the whole it loads apps quickly and is excellent in displaying video. Even though this is a Verizon branded tablet, I had considerable difficulty in getting Verizon to activate it. They kept insisting the device was incompatible with their network. I bought this because I need wifi capabilities. The description said it was for Verizon customers. After I received the tablet, I entered the ECMI # on the Verizon website...not recognized. I returned it. Amazon has had it back for OVER TWO WEEKS & WON'T REFUND MY MONEY!!! I am VERY ANGRY!! Don't buy this tablet if you are a Verizon customer & ever want your money back when you find that it doesn't work with their network!!! ... show more

IMEI not working on Verizon network. How is this a Verizon tab? Edit: after speaking with multiple Verizon reps asks finally going to the Verizon store i was able to add the IMEI to the network. Not sure why it wasn't ready out the gate but at least it's working.

I've been using the galaxy tab s6 for approximately a month mostly for reading, internet browsing, gaming, and productivity. I have had many portable devices of various technology ecosystems (iOS, Android, Windows). Prior to owning this galaxy tab s6, I last owned an android device about 5 years ago. My feeling about the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 is that it did not live up to the hype. It would be hard for me to recommend this to anyone except to those who are heavily entrenched in the android ecosystem and love Samsung. Pros: image quality battery life slim form factor light weight Cons: -fragile -performance inconsistencies - sometimes the tablet feels really snappy, but other times it gets strangely sluggish -Android software feels dated/unintuitive -s-pen: (1) awkward mount/storage location, (2) usage is confusing at best. I feel like in situations where I want to use the s-pen the galaxy tab s6 doesn't allow me to draw or write on things without some confusing sequence of touches/gestures. I have never dropped the tab S6, but the screen already has a hairline crack in it. I have only taken it out of the house approximately 6 times always in the official samsung case. It's disappointing that this device not rugged enough for daily use. In closing, if I could have my money back and purchase a different device, I would probably go with a Microsoft Surface which I have not owned, but has been highly recommened to me by Surface users. ... show more

Still adjusting to Tab S6 after having a Tab S8, but first impressions: nice display, sound good, battery life better than the A8. Wish charger port was NOT where it is - always seems to be in the way.

Ordered this tablet through Amazon, the first one I received I took to Verizon because I was having trouble activating the service. I was told something needed to be scanned before it was sent to me and it could not be activated and that it needed to be returned. Upon calling Amazon I told them what had happened and they assured me they will send me a second one and I would not have that problem. Well guess what, I received the second one and it could not be activated. Verizon said the IMEI code was never entered into the system so as far as they are concerned it could be stolen. So I wasted almost three hours with Verizon and numerous calls to Amazon and have no tablet. Guess I should have just bought it from Verizon in the first place ... show more
