Let me start by saying I did not need a Samsung Galaxy Tab. I was doing just fine with my duct-taped redecessor with it's cracked screen. But then I met this sleek, seductive piece of tech wizardry, and now I wonder how I ever lived without this multitasking sorcerer in my life. It’s light enough to carry around, but heavy enough that if someone tries to steal it, I could theoretically fling it like a frisbee of justice. The display? It’s so crisp and colorful that I now refuse to watch Netflix on anything else, including my actual TV. Even the lock screen is prettier than my yearbook photo. The battery life is disturbingly good. I charge it once and forget for two days that electricity even exists. I’ve used it to stream, draw, write a half-baked novel, accidentally open 73 Chrome tabs, and still have enough juice left to watch three hours of boxer dog TikToks. I am now watching YouTube tutorials on how to fold fitted sheets while actively not folding them. Peak productivity. My only complaint: it hasn’t yet made me coffee. I believe this is a software update Samsung can address in the near future. Bottom line: this tablet is the closest thing to holding the future in your hands. Get one. Or don’t. I love this tablet. It's not the fastest option out there but it is great for watching video, which is what I mainly use it for. The price is also quite reasonable compared to a lot of other options out there. If you mainly want to use it for watching things I highly recommend. You'll probably want to spend a bit more if you plan on gaming or anything. ... show more

True to reviews the Tab A9+ is an upgrade from the Tab A8. The Tab A8 is done with updates to Android and the Samsung UI. I purchased this renewed version of the Tab A9+ for $129 primarily to continue to get updates which should be for about two more years. It came with the Galaxy 6.1 UI and within two days it updated the Android security update to October, so it is current on all updates. It is a bit faster than Tab A8 and does a better job loading larger apps. The display is nice enough for indoor viewing if you don't use a screen protector. The audio is loud enough but lacks bass and sounds tinny. I use my Bluetooth speaker to get the full sound. It takes a little over an hour to recharge the batter from 30% to 80% which isn't that bad. I usually recharge to 80% when the battery level falls to between 40%-45% so the charge takes an hour or less. I can't really comment on the battery discharge rate if you let the battery charge go down to 15% from 100%. The battery discharge rate from 80% down to 40% - 45% is good enough for what I use the tablet for especially since recharging it back to 80% takes an hour or less. All in all, a nice replacement for the Tab A8 especially for $129 ... show more

I picked up the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ (10.9”, 64GB) to use as a calendar kiosk at church, and it worked great for the purpose. It’s a solid mid-range tablet with a nice display, smooth performance, and just the right features for the job. Performance & Display ✔ Bright and clear 10.9” screen – easy to read from different angles, which is important for a kiosk setup. ✔ Smooth and responsive – no lag when interacting with the calendar app. ✔ Good size for wall or table mounting – large enough for visibility but not too bulky. Setup & Ease of Use ✔ Simple setup – getting it ready for the kiosk was quick and straightforward. ✔ Stable performance – it ran the calendar app without any crashes or slowdowns. ✔ Decent speakers (if needed for alerts or announcements). Potential Drawbacks ✖ 64GB storage may be limiting – fine for a kiosk but could fill up fast with apps and media. ✖ Not the fastest processor – works well for a calendar display but might struggle with heavier tasks. I’ve had a Samsung Galaxy tablet for nearly 10 years, back when i had a Samsung phone. I needed to upgrade my present tablet & chose the Galaxy Tab A9+. It’s considerably larger than my old one & the graphics are much better on this new, larger screen. I haven’t used the camera app on this newer one, but as Samsung has always excelled in ease of use, I’m sure it will perform to my expectation. This is a refurbished tablet and it is in A+ condition. I fully expect to have many years of satisfied use, since the tablet it replaced is still in excellent condition. The only trouble I had with my older Galaxy tablet is from the YouTube app. No matter how many times I uninstalled, updated the app, I would continually get the Galaxy robot telling me to update! Apparently my older tablet was incapable of being fully updated. I use YouTube a great deal because of ceramic/pottery tutorials . Since upgrading my tablet, that problem is now pffffft (gone)!😂Alsi, knowing that prices on electronics from other countries are going to be hit with tariffs, I expect that prices will increase substantially.
