I purchased this Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra from Amazon in **Excellent Condition** for use outside the United States. The phone was delivered on **June 12, 2026**. Unfortunately, the device has developed several serious problems. Initially, I noticed issues with the camera, particularly difficulty focusing properly. More concerning, however, is that the phone began **randomly restarting by itself**, both while I was actively using it and while it was idle. The problem progressively became worse. The phone would sometimes freeze and then restart itself. Eventually, these unexpected restarts began occurring multiple times per day. In most cases, the phone was **not overheating and had sufficient battery charge** when the restart occurred. It has even restarted unexpectedly in the middle of phone calls. Today, **October 2, 2026**, the situation became extremely serious. The phone restarted itself **more than 50 times within approximately eight hours**. After the last occurrence, the phone became completely frozen and unresponsive for about **one hour**. During this prolonged freeze, it became hot and remained unusable until I eventually forced a shutdown/restart using the **Power/Side button and Volume Down button**. By that point, the battery had been almost completely drained. This is clearly not normal or acceptable behavior for a phone that was sold in Excellent Condition. The repeated restarts and prolonged freezing have made the device unreliable for normal daily use and communication. Since I purchased this device from Amazon for use outside the United States, I am unsure what support, repair, replacement, or refund options are available to me. Please advise me on the appropriate resolution for this defective device. I bought two of these, one for my wife and one for myself. These have got to be, hands down, the best phones we have ever owned. This phone is very fast and responsive and the camera quality is superb. Me upgrading from an S10 Plus, this phone makes me feel like a power user. The S Pen is so convenient and has a lot of nice little features that make using the phone easier/increases productivity. Both phones arrived in immaculate condition for being previously used. I've had people tell me they can hear me a lot more clearly than compared with using my old phone. I have zero connectivity issues with this device. It's awesome. Cannot imagine buying this for $1,300 brand new back in 2025 but purchasing it as a refurb. I definitely recommend it to anyone who needs an amazing phone. I will tell you that I was a little nervous when reading buyer reviews about the seller but this seemed like too much of a good deal to pass up. There are still plenty of good reviews. Bought the Amazon Renewed/Refurbished from the seller. Came mostly in good condition. It was unlocked, I had no issue setting up and activating service provider. Battery is in great condition and great performance. Device only warms up under normal heavy use like multitasking, such as talking on the phone while gaming at the same time. Great call quality, and internet connectivity. I also confirmed that this one still has the original screen which was great because sometimes you run the risk of buying a phone repaired with a lower quality screen that can break easily. But this one i can tell its genuine, because it still has the anti-reflection thats provided by samsung on these phones. Knocked off 1 star because it did have a long hairline scratch and a couple tiny dents on the screen. But I let it slide because it did not leave any bubbles after screen protector application. Also because those minor flaws aren't noticeable while the phone is on and watching content. But it is noticeable if the screen is black and I try to look hard for it. So besides that, I can live with it, since i still rather have the original screen for something just minor. I paid almost half the price for the samsung galaxy s25 ultra compared to this year's new samsung galaxy s26 ultra with not much of a big difference in quality and performance. I save money while this phone got it's latest security and software update and still has 6 years left of security updates. Hopefully this phone will last till then. I recommend this seller, but i advise you to still do your due diligence in verifying that everything works on the phone before slapping on a case and screen protector and or before the return window, because this can still be a hit or miss. Wasn't as green as I was expecting but that is Samsung's fault for the false advertisement. Otherwise the purchase was great and I am very happy with the phone itself just not the color. Samsung should do better.
