    • Horrible buyer experience
The phone's product listing describes it as "unlocked", but the phone I received is locked by AT&T (not the first review posted describing this problem). The phone was sold by Networkstore and fulfilled by Amazon. Either Amazon or Networkstore shipped the phone by FedEx and required me to be present to receive the phone (honestly not a bad thing)...however I'm not home during the day and FedEx did not present me an option to hold at the distribution center so I had to take a day off work to receive the package. After finding out the phone is locked by AT&T I submitted an unlock request and was approved. I followed the instructions sent by AT&T, but the phone does not display the option to unlock as intended. I think this is because the phone is not properly receiving internet from my home wifi (despite me actively streaming a show on my TV at the same time), or my older phone's hotspot. So right now I have a phone that does nothing useful, and I hesitate risking going through all this over again for a replacement phone. I thought I was getting a deal with renewed pricing, but it's turned into a headache. ... show more

The phone was locked I had to call at&t to get it unlocked. I specifically chose this "unlocked device" for that specific fact. Other than that it's pretty sweet.

Kind of figure you buy something so fragile it would come packaged tight in a box but nope. Came in a bubble wrap split inside an envelope. Also only came with a cord no brick.
