This is a refurbished phone, but you can't tell that it has been. For the one I bought it may have been barely used or open box because of the immaculate condition it's in I know several people have said that it isn't unlocked, but I can say at least mine was. It's always important to see if the model name is 'S918U1', without that 1 at the end it means it's locked to a carrier. See attached photo. The other thing is if they used an aftermarket screen or not, but rest assured this comes with the factory screen or an exact replacement. You can always tell because the aftermarket ones have rounded corners instead of the square "edge to edge" screen. The S-Pen also works as expected. Came with Android 15, and updated to 16 after 8 or 10 updates. Screen / Display quality definitely a big improvement from what we were using. I just had my Galaxy s23 ultra 1 TB arrive a couple days ago. The phone itself is in really good condition. I don't know if it's a refurbished one or a brand new one. But it looks brand new. I had a Galaxy s 23 ultra previously that had less storage on it and had a couple other issues. The finger print sensor and Bluetooth pen wasn't working on my previous phone. So upgrading to this one is really nice. It's working really fast and having no issues. My only complaint would be the shipping. But that wasn't on the company shipping it. I'm assuming it was FedEx's fault. Because I spent $50 for overnight. But it ended up still taking them like 5 days to deliver it. So really that's on FedEx. But this phone seems to be in really good condition. It also came with a double sided type C cable and a type C cable box. It arrived in bubble wrap inside of a phone size box. So the company selling it took good care in packaging it. I'd buy from them again. ... show more

The phone works, but it has scratches and scuffs on the corners. The pen doesn't work; it's stuck inside the phone and the only way to remove it is with a pin. The battery, as the description says, is at 80%, but with daily use it lasts around 9-10 hours.
