They sold me a phone with a broken camera for $600 listed in "excellent" condition. It was not in excellent condition. The camera kept stalling and shutting down, and eventually stopped working. I would not purchase from the seller again.     • Phone is locked by AT&T
So let me start by saying I did receive a S23 Ultra in fairly good condition. However that is where the good things end. The phone was factory reset upon arrival which is to be expeceted however when booting up the phone for the first time it was clearly and AT&T branded phone not Verizon as their logo boots up with the phone. Little did how know how much of an issue this was going to be. For those of you who dont know, AT&T phones can not be updated OTA unless you have a AT&T sim card with an active AT&T line. This means that you cannot update to the latest version of Android normally and have to install additional software on you pc/mac and manually install any updates via a USB connected to the phone. Additionally if you use an Esim like me, you will not be able to use your carrier untill you request that AT&T unlock the phone which can be done online and I was only able to figure this out thanks to Reddit, not a complex process but still the phone was advertised as unlocked and this did not seem to be the case though maybe factory reseeting the phone causes the phone to be relocked idk. I gave 3 stars because I did receive the product in good condition and it arrived on time however it took almost 4-5 hours to get it actually working. I plan to keep it and see how it performs over the next 90 days before making a final decision as the phone aslo seems to run hot but that could just be from all the charging and transfering of data. I initially started a refund request after the first 2 hours of "prep work" didnt resolve the issues and it seemed as though the return process would have gone as usual drop it off and get a refund so i dont think the seller is up to anything sketchy just would recomed he update his listing to refeleect correct carriers as it clearly makes a difference. I had a verizon s21 ultra and even after switching from verizon have had 0 issues updating the phone wirelessly and using a esim with another provider. ... show more
