I wanted a boot that came up to my calf and these are exactly what I wanted. They are a little stiff at first especially the heels. They need a little breaking in, but they did not hurt me. I haven’t had any blisters or anything and I’ve walked quite a bit in them. I would recommended.

Exactly as pictured, the material is very hard; thin plastic but very stiff. The white "fluff" inside is more like the kind of stuff you see when you rip open a double-layer piece of cardboard. Although everything feels stiff, it seems comfortable enough to wear for regular outtings, but I stood in them for 9 hours at work (stood, didnt walk much) and my feet ended up a little sore but 1) I'm always a bit sore after that and 2) these weren't made to walk/stand a lot. I bought them as short, easily matched shoes to my business casual attire in case I wanted to ride my motorcycle to work ... show more

Comfortable but definitely does not look like leather. Worth the price I paid. I’ll be interested to see how it handles snow in the associated salt that can be part of it. For now they still shine and look good.
