This Samsung Galaxy S23 FE is my first Samsung phone after switching from Apple. I figured I'd get it refurbished in case I didn't like it. I really love this phone! It came in great condition, no visible damages. I transfered all of my data and photos from my iPhone to the S23 FE using a lightning to USB-C cable, which only took about an hour. The phone runs smoothly and has excellent battery life. It lasts me all day unless I'm doomscrolling. I got a Galaxy Watch that connected to this S23 FE using the Wearables app. People were saying that the phone gets hot, but it doesn't really. The only time it's felt hot is when I've had multiple apps running at once or had my brightness up. My only issue with it is that I couldn't sign into any Samsung apps or services for a few days. I even ordered a new one to replace this one, but the issue on this phone ended up resolving itself before I even got the replacement. I'd definitely recommend this phone.     • Not really unlocked and it can't read physical SIM card

Even though the phone looked great and was advertised as unlocked, I could never get it to work. It would not read the SIM or ESIM provided by either company that I tried, and it took weeks and weeks and paying for phone plans through two different phone carriers for a month each paid up front to realize that the phone itself had some kind of flaw. Both companies spent hours with me on the phone, trying repeatedly to get the phone I bought to talk to their system, as it was showing as compatible, but the phone itself kept saying to insert a SIM card, even though I tried three different physical SIM cards, , plus downloaded ESims from each company, and it just kept saying insert a SiM card. Hundreds of dollars down the drain, plus an extra hundred in useless phone plans, and no way of finding out that it is actually a bad phone until it is too late to make a complaint, because it takes so long to get a SIM card from a phone company each time. One of the techs said that it may be a cloned phone or from another country, or locked to a carrier, but sold as unlocked, but that they really had no idea what was wrong with it, just that they could find no way to get it to connect and talk to their system. The IMEI number loaded into it said that it was compatible each time, when they typed the number into their system, but when they tried to connect with an ESIM to get around the fact that the phone won't read a SIMP card, they got a message back saying that the phone was locked to a different carrier. Smooth with no issues. I've been a longtime iPhone user, and wanted to try something different. My iPhone battery was on death's door, and I decided to order a galaxy. It is different. Not better, but not remotely worse. Just different. What i noticed (not am extensive list): 1. Smooth, with sufficient memory. Gets the job done without lagging. I don't game with my phone, so I am referring to standard tasks. 2. Great camera. Wish my iPhone had as many megapixels. However, iPhone makes up for it with better software tweaks. So, maybe a toss up. 3. Android auto is functional and gets the job done. Compared to iPhone it is glitchy. Less intuitive, not doing what you expect, and while never crashing, it can take several extra clicks and patience to get where you want to go. That being said, samsung voice to text beats the crap out of iPhone. This is HUGE. So accurate. So seamless. Honestly, this phone is worth purchasing for that reason alone. 4. Samsung needs to get it's act together when it comes to initiating screen shots. Annoying. Takes way too long. 5. Sending and receiving phone calls. Who uses those, really?
