To start with - My entire family uses renewed phones so I am very used to what they should look /feel like. Hopefully this one just slipped through. This was purchased as a refurbished - Excellent condition phone - the Amazon definition of that is "This pre-owned or refurbished product has been professionally inspected and tested to work and look like new. How a product becomes part of Amazon Renewed, your destination for pre-owned, refurbished products: A customer buys a new product and returns it or trades it in for a newer or different model. That product is inspected and tested to work and look like new by Amazon-qualified suppliers. Then, the product is sold as an Amazon Renewed product on Amazon." Issues: 1. there is no way this phone could be rated as Excellent - it looks like it had been in someone's pock with keys for a very long time - or drug through a gravel pit. Sides are beat up with some deep pockmarks / Screen has many scratches. (see pics) 2. Speaker sounded like it was broken / blowen out or had dirt packed in it or maybe had something shoved into it. either way it could only get to about half the volume my wife's phone (exact same model) could get to. 3. Microphone - when on wifi calling (to eliminate carrier issues) anything going through the microphone was distorted - possibly dirt packed into it or something 4. Fingerprint reader could not get it to work 25% of the time. if would only work up to 50% I could live with it. positives: It takes and makes calls. hard to hear them and I have to speak very loudly to get through the mic. It fits the Ghostek waterproof phone case Maybe after a thorough cleaning the speaker / Mic will function, and it may hit the renewed - acceptable level. This one - I will be returning ... show more

Great phone, but the battery was LOOSE inside, and not an OEM battery. I appreciate the new battery, but whoever did the refurbish didn't use the double-sided tape to secure it! Bouncing around loose eventually damaged the circuit board on the battery and the phone would not turn on. Diagnosing and repairing it was $106, for a new battery, installed PROPERLY. ... show more

Overall the phone is pretty great. I do, however have problems with Bluetooth. I can't connect to a handful of my devices. Other than that it works pretty great 👍

Appearance and functionality is as advertised. Just hope it lasts longer than the Galaxy S10+ I ordered in Jan 2023 to replace. Love the visibility of the large screen, numerous camera functions and fast response of apps. Great experience thus far!

Other than arriving in generic packaging, you can't tell that it's not a new phone. Battery life appears to be excellent so far. Could not be happier if I had bought a brand new one, and definitely a great upgrade from my Note 8. One thing I will say that is disappointing is that Samsung has stopped supporting ANT+ devices, so for the time being I have to use my Note 8 to record my workouts so I can still track my heart rate until I purchase a new HRM. ... show more

Defective phone 2nd time ordering from them, forst time was years ago. Put up $70 more to buy the parts needed to repair the device. What a joke, wouldn't be suprised if their refurbishing process is just sticking a plastic protector on it and shipping it. I repaired the device myself but why should I have to?
