This was my 3rd attempt at getting a phone for my son (1st was in unacceptable condition from a different seller, 2nd was "damaged while preparing for shipping" from yet another seller). This one is pretty much perfect. No major scratches, screen and camera are flawless, battery life is exceptional, easily activated to my carrier (Xfinity Mobile). Great deal for the price! He is switching from a Galaxy S9, which would be lucky if he didn't have to charge before lunch. Now, at 7:45pm, he's been on it all day, and just hit 50%. Bought the S22+ through Amazon's Renewed program. Your mileage may vary, but my experience was nothing but outstanding. Phone advertised as excellent condition, appeared new (no scratches/blemishes). The only issue (extremely minor) was the phone initially started with an error, required a restart, but worked perfectly after the restart. The transfer from my old phone to the S22+ required more manual configuration on apps, home screens, etc than on previous phones. But that's an initial/one-time issue. 5G connectivity is better on the S22+ than the phone it replaced, call audio is WAY better, and the phone is very fast. ... show more

Getting this phone was a bit of an adventure, the first time the phone was "delivered," I received a box with a power adapter and cable inside - NO PHONE. Fortunately, I was able to set up a call back from Amazon and explain the situation including sending them a photo of the empty packaging. After a bit of discussion regarding the status update on the delivery not having been completed (it was updated while I was on the phone with the representative), they dispatched a phone to me (I can't call it a replacement, since I didn't get one in the first place.) Fortunately, I received the phone the next day. I have purchased many used phones over the years, but normally within a year of the launch of a particular model. In this case I was ordering a three year old model based solely on the cost, as I was buying the phone for use as a backup phone (WiFi only with Google Voice) and for use as a drone control display. I looked at lower end recently released Samsung phones, but it seemed that there was far more value in a higher end phone that was three years old and was around $250 with 256GB of storage. My suggestion on buying used phones would be to be very conscious of the usable life (how many updates will the phone get) and the condition. In this case an "Excellent" condition phone had a near perfect display, near perfect back panel, and two sides that were in great condition. The the bottom side and the right side of the phone had scratches and nicks, but I still consider the condition overall to be accurate. No the phone is not in "Mint" condition, but certainly better than "Very Good." I was able to set up the phone, charge it fully, and load the apps I wanted to use, then test its use. Everything seems to work as expected. The phone is a Snapdragon 8 gen 1, which as a I recall sometimes generated a little extra heat and had lower battery life than expected, but for my use the phone should be fine. The phone is supposed to get at least the next major Android and One UI upgrades (16 and 8) - so I expect security updates for about another two years, at which time I may decided to get another used phone for use as a backup. The phone works and sounds fine, I would call it a good value even if you want to use it for your primary phone. The screen, apps, etc. are snappy and everything runs without issue. ... show more

I have been using the phone for about two weeks now after trading up from my ancient Galaxy S7. Phone came 3 days early and in beautiful condition. All works wonderfully. Very happy. The packaging was top-notch and showed care and commitment to the customer. Will certainly buy from these folks again. Very happy with the price, quality, and performance.     • Everything appeared to work, except the speaker.
Phone looks decent, rated excellent but there was a little bit of wear and tear on the body. Screen looked perfect and I was satisfied with the purchase until I got the phone setup and realized the speaker was blown. Music and sounds cause it to rattle and buzz and can't hear people when on calls. Seller approved return no problem, just bummed I have to try and gamble on another refurb. I've bought refurbished phones off Amazon for nearly 10 years and it used to always be a good deal, recently I've had to return multiple phones because they were either rated incorrectly or were not in fact fully working phones. ... show more

Phone was in excellent condition and looked new. Fingerprint reader would only work sometimes. Phone would occasionally lock up for unknown reasons. Battery would barely last 8 hours with light use. Im returning it and just buying new from now on

I bought the S22 plus renewed and i've been testing this product for three months and i must say that its pretty solid, and this vendor is really trustable, they really renew their products: no scuffs, no scratches, totally clean, nobody can figure it out that was used, i've trying other vendors and most of them sold scuffed phones but not this one. This model is not intended for heavy use, the battery is pretty decent for most users but if you use video recording so heavily, this might not be for you and it has nothing to do with this vendor or being renewed but the model itself I strongly recommend this vendor btw ... show more

I'm not reviewing the phone, a thousand of them out there on the intertubes. Just reporting that it came in pristine condition and works perfectly after a month. I suspect that a lot of Renew products are really NOS. New, old stock. Leftovers that didn't sell when newer models came out. Samsung or whomever sells them in lots to people like this seller who then re-boxes and markets them. This even came with a power brick, which even Samsung doesn't supply.
