I have owned several good quality LEM products which makes me sad to write this. This unit does not pull enough vacuum to properly vacuum pack anything. It vacuums right up to the point that it should seal and then releases the vacuum-making everything I have vacuum sealed half full of air. I’ve considered purchasing a higher end unit but I am concerned that the quality has fallen off for this brand. If the vacuum power of this unit works for you, I would suggest a less expensive unit with the same capabilities. ... show more

Excellent Vacuum sealer. Well mad, and so far reliable. Small foot print for easy storage. I use it for prepping for Sous Vid, and to seal meat with dry or wet marinate. I use it with pre-made bags and with rolls. Overall very good product, and very useful.

This food saver lets you put food items in a specialized bag, remove the air and seal the bag. It can do both wet and dry food and lets you preserve food longer and seal it with little to no wasted space. This sealer works fast and makes it convenient after grocery shopping when you are wrapping meat to store in the freezer . It keeps the meat covered for a month or two of storage and the meat is as fresh as it was, when it was sealed after opening. This vacuum sealer looks well-made and functions really well. I tested the built-in roller and cutter. The machine seals well. It has options for both dry and moist seals. The moist button works well to keep vegetables sealed with some moisture in the bag.
