We didn’t expect fantastic due to the price point, but consider this a full waste of $$. It’s so buoyant it’s nearly impossible for deep water starts - regardless of age. Our kids (9,10 and 11) have successfully gotten up on it- but only by starting on their belly, shifting to their knees and quickly standing up - definitely not ideal and a very inconsistent method. So, put your money towards a better one that’s not as bouyant... you’ll have much more success surfing! ... show more
