This S20 is replacing an S10e that I've had for about two years. So far, I'm very pleased with the purchase. It has nice features, some new, some improved and some very much like the S10e it replaced. Set-up was easy except for a problem I had with getting the device to recognize both sims when I initially installed them. Tried three or four times to get them to work, but only one at a time initially showed as installed. Finally, I installed only one sim (the one that wouldn't read), and the phone recognized it. Then went back and installed the second one, and they then showed both as installed and working. I don't get it, but now it "ain't broke", so I'm not gonna fix it again. Fingerprint feature was a bit of a struggle getting going, but I think that's more the fault of my old, wrinkly fingerprint than the device. Beyond the sim problem, everything worked the first time, installed properly and quickly when I transferred everything from my old phone to the new one wirelessly with the Samsung smart switch.     • The phone is the United Arab emirates version.
It's IS WORKING with my network operator in Armenia. The phone is unlocked. And as I understand this is not a 5g version, but anyway there is no 5G :D network. The camera is cool but Google Pixel 4 is more powerful. When I m playing PUBG Mobile sometimes it's lagging I think it's related to the Exynos chipset.     • An International Disaster, a lemon
This phone was defective from the start: connectivity problems, dropped calls, NO NETWORK connection, MIC issues and local shops could not repair it because its an "international" phone. (This was not obvious in the purchase description and became a huge problem.) I did finally get a cracked screen repaired but problems continued: phone updates would delete random "important" contacts and would also remove personal settings in phone setups. I tried switching cell service and also added a wifi booster at home with zero improved result. I would lose my Network connection if I was away from wifi and often could not make calls or use internet, GPS etc once I left my home. The 2 year warranty initially would only be issued as an AMAZON gift card for reimbursement of the local repair however after I escalated objection a refund check was issued for the repair and I received a shipping label to return the phone for refund. It has been a disaster from the start. I'm now shopping to buy a new phone from my provider. I want to add: with the extra 2 year warranty, I received a refund for the screen repair (my out of pocket cost was approx. $130 to file the claim) plus a full refund was received for the returned phone. I'm glad I purchased the warranty and their customer service was very good. ... show more

I bought this phone (s20 international version dual sim unlocked) in Jan 2021, today September 2022 the screen just blanks out with then turns white or bright with faded colors. My phone is very important to me and this is unacceptable seeing that my phone lives in a protective case, has never fallen to the ground and is cleaned and inspected frequently. ... show more

    • Camera not as great as expected
The phone has no bugs except for the rear camera. When taking photos of documents it tends to blur a portion of it. It is really annoying. This didn't happen with the S8. I wonder if it's a defective one.
