I was worried that there would be something wrong with the phone since I bought it from Amazon Warehouse. But I've had it for 2months and couple days now, and it works great. Lots of updates need to be done when you get it because it's like brand new. The camera is awesome. People who have used my phone or I've sent pictures to, commented on the quality of the pics. For data settings, it didn't automatically find the correct setting so my data wasnt working, but the fix was pretty simple in settings where access point names are chosen. I bought this phone during Amazon's July 2019 Prime Day since it had a nice discount and my old S7 was getting slow and a little wonky. I was a bit nervous given the various reviews people have given but, decided to risk it. As of this writing, I've only had it 4 days so it's possible my 5 star review could change. That said, here's what I know so far: This phone IS indeed an unlocked US version and most definitely has the Snapdragon processor. I moved my sim card over from my old phone and it activated flawlessly and quickly on Verizon's network. I'm still learning the various nuances and features of the phone, but so far I'm impressed. The phone is very fast, the graphics and performance are excellent and the battery life is a significant improvement over my S7. I still can't find specifics about what the stated "limited Warranty" actually is and I'd like to know that. I am considering a square trade or some other warranty in case of accidents but, they seem to be VERY expensive. I am careful but, accidents do happen. Anyway, my bottom line is the description, though brief, was accurate and so far I'm very pleased with the phone and the discounted price I paid. ... show more

Took about 1 month to get the phone due to COVID-19 but the wait was really worth it. Took it to the local AT&T store for a SIM card because the one from my S5 was the wrong physical size. No charge for the card. Used Smart Switch to transfer my old phone to S10 wirelessly. Took about 2 1/2 hours. Had a lot of stuff in my old phone. Everything transferred just fine. I did need to put in passwords on some apps to get them to work the first time. I charge the phone wirelessly which sure beats plugging in the cord. The battery lasts all day and I have been using the phone a lot getting used to it. I downloaded the Smart View app to be able to use screen mirroring on my Samsung smart TV and it works fine. The camera is the most outstanding feature of the phone. I haven't used all of the features but the ones that I have explored have been great. I have no need for the screen lock so I haven't tried the finger print. I'll try it later just to see if it works. ... show more

Just got this phone today. Bought from a different seller in the "buy used" category. I switched to this from an iPhone 6. The screen is huge compared to my old phone. This didn't come with the screen protector or the headphones. I am on a GSM carrier, and it works perfectly. Switching over would have been tricky, but my roommate had the USB to USB-c converter, and I was able to just plug in my iPhone and transfer everything. Apps that span both the Google play store and the Apple app store, all my contacts, my messages, and photos made the move seamlessly. The only thing that didn't transfer was my notes. So far, I'd highly recommend. UPDATE: The phone didn't have the Samsung Notes app installed already, so I found and installed it myself. Then, I re-plugged in my iPhone, and the notes transferred flawlessly. ... show more

I'm a notorious tightwad with upgrading my phone. My last upgrade was to a Galaxy S5 back in 2014, and I scoff at the idea of updating every year or every two years. That said, it was getting a little long in the tooth by last December, and after seeing an astonishingly good deal for Prime Card members, I took the plunge. If you are switching from such a phone to this one, you will either need to get a new SIM card, or you can get a puncher to cut it down to the correct side. I elected to use the latter solution, and to my surprise, it worked. Be sure to have a small paperclip around to open the port for SIM and SD cards. The phone is slim as one would expect, and yet it's huger than my S5. I'm not entirely thrilled by the camera being part of the screen for certain widescreen videos, but you get used to it. For moving files over, it was a cinch when using Samsung Smart Switch. Just install the app on both phones, and touch the phones together to initiate the transfer. A couple of slight gripes: - I prefer to have physical buttons rather than the digital buttons. It's mostly not a problem, but occasionally, when I have an app in widescreen, I have to get out of the app to use the buttons. - Samsung, please get rid of the Bixby button. I've lost count of how many times I've accidentally pushed it. and I will never use the app. ... show more

Only problem I have with it: my external microSD card can't be written to by anything besides 1 app - the Samsung one is not as easy to shift things with as the Google file management app. It says what I need to do to let another app manage it, but can't find any menu to accomplish it in their app or the google app. I can't even find the specific app it says I need to give permission to. Other than that, good phone life; still finding new locations for old functionality (like how to set a time for a message to go out... it's buried deeper here than my old phone, just found it 6 months later!) ... show more
