  • Do not buy this phone.
Worked well for 12 months then unable to receive text or phone calls (failed after warranty expires). I received the N920C model. This unlocked phone was originally made for the Middle East market with the noticeable Arabic writing and Dubai location setting within the phone. I have a T-Mobile branded Note 5 and I compared it to this phone. I rarely get all signal bars on this model while on my T-Mobile branded phone I get better cell signal. Phone screen is noticeably brighter and the phone is quicker than the T-Mobile branded phone. Now 2/28/18 the phone will not receive text messages or phone calls. I have insurance on my line so I tried to claim this phone but Assurant is stating that my phone's IMEI number is showing as 64gb but I have the 32gb model so my claim was denied. Tried calling Samsung and they are stating that the IMEI is showing as invalid and they need to further investigate. T-Mobile can't help me since I didn't buy the phone from them. In short, do not buy this phone. Not that anyone is going to buy a old phone but do not buy international unlocked phones as there are no warranty or product support available in the USA. ... show more

  • I love the device
I love the device, but I hated the seller. It's advertised as "factory unlocked," which, according to the seller, means "international," which, according to the seller, is equivalent to having features specific to United Arab Emirates. What that means is that Ramadan will be on your calendar for 4 weeks in the summer, and there's nothing you can do to get rid of it. No other holidays are pre-loaded into the calendar--just that one Muslim one. Also, the charger I got was not for U.S. outlets, and they sent a crappy black adapter with it. (After going back and forth to no avail with the seller, and to little effect with Amazon, I was directed to contact Samsung for a user manual and for instructions to fix the calendar problem. Haven't had time to mess with that yet, so I can't say if they'll be able to solve the problem. Amazon sent me a U.S. charger that matched the phone.) Other than that, I love the device. The big screen and S-Pen appeal to my middle-aged eyes and somewhat old fashioned sensibilities. (I like to write with pens). And it's really convenient to be able to jot things down and easily look them up or add to contacts later, etc. I'm far from an expert with smart phones (this is my first one) so I'll let others give you more technical run-down on the phone. I'm very happy with the device. ... show more

  • clean and in good condition overall, but not exactly "unlocked"
the one that I got was in good condition with no screen shadow or burn. it is not exactly unlocked because it it's affiliated with t mobile and has t mobile software and boots up saying t mobile. any truly unlocked phone I've had in the past have not been affiliated with any carrier. I thought it was a little pricey but I noticed the price went up since i bought it already, but its getting harder to find decent note 5's ... show more

  • For some odd reason I feel like this is a replica
For some odd reason I feel like this is a replica. I had another Note 5 from AT&T and this one has a few things off. The backlight of the "Back" and "Menu" buttons on the screen are improperly lit. Also the notification led, lights up as if there is a 1/2 inch LED light behind it, brightening the whole upper left part of the screen. I verified IMEI and it says its authentic..... yet something tells me its not. It is working fine for the past few months so I really hope it lasts. ... show more

  • Amazing phone
A beautiful white phone complemented by equally amazing pen. Have installed all the apps I wanted and phone is still super fluid. No lag whatsoever. The phone itself sits on the palm firmly, thanks to its curved back. Battery life is insane. The work I do with my phone (check emails, Facebook, whatssap, calls), the battery goes down by 40 to 45% by end of day. My Galaxy S3 on the other hand would go down by 70 to 80%. Improvements: 1. Expand the air command to include other functions. 2. The switch on pen is of no or little use. It can be expanded to functionality like smart select or screen write by hovering over phone screen rather than touching. ... show more
