Also, when you don't feel like using the keyboard, you can handwrite your emails and text messages and have your words converted into text instantly. The Galaxy Note 4 has a wide-angle, 3.7MP front-facing camera so you can capture crisper selfies with all of your friends and more of your background. • Understand What You're Getting Before Buying This
The description of the phone lists it as unlocked which it is. what it does not mention is that the phone was previously locked to the AT&T network. You will have many issues because of that. For one, the phone is filled with AT&T apps and bloatware that only work on the AT&T network. You cannot use them and all they do is take up space on the phone. You will never be able to do an android OS update of the phone either because the OTA updates must come through the AT&T network so you're stuck with the old android operating system on here for as long as you have it. You also cannot root this phone to get rid of the AT&T apps and update the OS because AT&T has the boot loaded on this phone locked. The boot loaded will never be unlocked so you are quite limited in what you can do with the phone in terms of upgrades and removing the bloatware. You have been warned, don't buy this, buy one that says "factory unlocked" or even the international version will be better than this. I have two of these I bought, one keeps rebooting itself every few minutes. I repair phones and so I would have done a factory reset but I am hesitant to do it because phones that have been locked before sometimes re lock themselves when you do the factory reset, so I am in a bind with that one.If it does relock I would have to then unlock it again in order to use it. ... show more

  • The item turned out damaged as I have already stated and I am very disappointed with your service
I ordered a Samsung smartphone, specifically a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 N910A 32GB Unlocked GSM 4G LTE Smartphone Black on November 29th and it arrived damaged. The damages are: 1. the screen is not well fixed and glued 2. finger touches don't work well 3. headphones don't match and we cant use them 4. the item doesn't come with headphones. 5. the screen got very hot after 20 minutes of it being on. 6. after the battery gets to 20%, the phone automatically turns off. The seller of the item was amazon and I thought the item would be new and my expectations were high. The item turned out damaged as I have already stated and I am very disappointed with your service. I have been a customer of yours for a very long time and nothing like this has ever happened before. The staff can't help me, they don't take into consideration my demands, also i have written thousand letters, but nothing got right at all. i am very disappointed. ... show more

  • If you're not an actual AT&T customer (I use Straight Talk ), you might want to read this review.
What is confusing about buying one of these unlocked phones from Amazon is that they have so many different model numbers. Some are meant for Europe, others are meant for different carriers in the U.S. You really need to research. I myself have a Straight Talk plan, and am coming from a Nexus 4 phone. Because this model is SM-910A, that means it's specially meant to be sold by AT&T. What this means is that it comes pre-loaded with AT&Ts special apps that take up memory, and without some others, because AT&T replaced them with their own, less useful version. For example, they replaced the Galaxy Note app "Car Mode" with their own AT&T "Drive Mode". Drive Mode is far less useful than Car Mode; it turns on at the wrong times or on its own, auto replies to texts with a preachy message about not texting and driving, and signs off with a hash tag, which I find obnoxious. You also receive AT&T software updates, and it wants to connect me to the AT&T contacts account every time I open my Contacts, even though I don't have an account, because I am not a customer. The only way I can get rid of these is to root my phone, which voids the warranty. So, buyer beware! If you are not an AT&T customer, you will have to deal with useless bloat ware. Also be warned that an AT&T phone needs an AT&T phone case, because the microphone at the bottom of the phone is in a different place than, say, a Verizon Galaxy Note 4. I enjoy this phone a lot, love the stylus, enjoy the TouchWiz features, so I am going to return this one and buy a Note 4 from a company that can assure me it's not attached to any one phone carrier. ... show more

  • Beware of "end of life" products even with a warranty
I bought this phone June 30, 2019 as a new product with a one year warranty. I kept it in the box and when my old phone died, got it out two months ago and started to use it. It does not stay locked on a cell signal long. I have seen it lose cell signal as many as five times in a minute. The carrier and manufacturer were both good about troubleshooting and the manufacturer said they would fix it under warranty if they could get parts but, this is an "end of life" product. Unfortunately being "end of life" makes any warranty useless. WiFi, WiFi calling and bluetooth all work fine. After troubleshooting, it is evident it is the phone having used two different sim cards in multiple phones and this is the only one which will not hold onto the cell signal. Amazon has forwarded my request for refund or exchange to the seller and I am waiting to see if they will replace or refund. It seems all works fine except the one function it is designed to provide. I have had numerous of this same model and never had this problem with any of them. I stick with it as it is one of the last models that has a removable battery. Be careful if purchasing an old model even with a warranty. ... show more
