I love this phone! Wanted to upgrade last year but hesitated because my old phone (Note 9) had survived being in our house when it was destroyed by fire, smoke and water. I was emotionally attached so I truly hesitated to upgrade and then it was discontinued by T-Mobile. Fast forward 8 months and my old phone started acting a bit wonky. T-Mobile said I couldn't get one and frankly I didn't want to fork out over $1200 for a new phone at like Best Buy so I was sorta stuck. Then I found this seller and this phone. I contacted T-Mobile (who we've been with for literally 20 years) to see if I could have my handset insurance on a phone I bought even if it was renewed. When they confirmed that yes, I could, I went ahead and bought the phone. I'm so happy I did! The phone arrived as promised, appearing brand new in the box. No marks, no cracks, no sign of wear, nothing. Came with the phone and a cord but beware, no charging cube is included. Apparently that is common for new phones. Also the wire that came with it isn't regular usb to phone usb, it's c type usb on both sides of the wire. Sorta useless unless you have that type of cube. I didn't so I use my regular charging wire. The phone works beautifully, the camera takes absolutely awesome pictures and the price was decent. Bought the phone in January. I recently purchased a renewed premium version of this device for $400. I used two tpu-based screen protectors in an attempt to cover it of which the first one failed and the second one worked without failure. I also have covered the case with a Spigen liquid air shell which has no complications with the tpu-based screen protector. The device came in perfect condition with a travel charger and cable. There were no scratches on the screen at all even with the screen off and using reflective light to catch the hairline types of scratches that can emerge. I have run battery checkers on the device and true to advertising the battery life percent is a little over 95%. Like many others having the assurance that Samsung engineers were involved in the renewal process heightened my expectations for the device to be in great shape and durable for the long run. One area of concern though it is not likely related to the durability of the device but more so the build quality of new phones and under the screen fingerprint readers, is that the fingerprint reader does not seem to be as immediately active as one I previously had with a OnePlus phone. However, it is not so significant a difference that it bothers me at all. This was my first but it's likely to not be my last experience with Amazon Renewed. ... show more

I bought this for my son to replace a Note 8, non 5g model. He is an avid concert goer (4-5 monthly) and loves to record and photograph while attending. The much larger screen size, battery, and especially the the 108mp rear camera are a giant upgrade for him. The ability to simply swap out a 1gig micro SD card after each concert or event is still a massive advantage for him VS inboard ram in the newer devices and no microsd. I offer him my S22 ultra or the Note 20 ultra, and he immediately said the Note 20 ultra. Anyway, as far as functionality on a daily basis it's pretty much the same as the Note 8. But it's when he uses it for concerts, game play, video playback quality, that's where the major difference is he says. Great phone. We picked it up Jan 4, 2023 in like new condition for $399. Its a great phone, I bought refurbished and renew to save the environment, I really wanted this phone, but after 3 weeks, the phone got a black impression in the screen that will not go away. I went to google I came to find out thats called a Ghost Burn. It got worsed when the battery stop charging and literally pray for it to charge to 20% for me to do the factory reset to return it. Its truly a shame cause I fell in love with the phone. It glide and smooth like butter, I ended up returning the phone. My heart still hurting cause the phone is amazing ... show more

This is the first time I buy a product that isn't brand new. I thought about it for many days and read too many reviews from people about their experiences. I was not willing to pay so much for a phone. I was looking for a cell phone with an SD card of 1TB this is the last Samsung with that. When I received the package I was impressed when I open the box. Everything was like brand new. Right away I charged the phone and proceed to transfer everything from my old cell to this new phone. After everything was finished I moved the SIM and SD Card to the phone. When I turned it back on things were flawless. After I get all the Samsung Updates the phone so far is working great. I never thought about some things that have been used before and passed all tests to be sold again in pristine condition. Samsung stands behind its products and the beauty of it is I have a year to return it if I am not 100% satisfied. I need a phone with the capacity of 1TB SD card this one is the last one I hope Samsung knows the importance for people to have a jack and an SD card slot. I am happy thus far with my purchase. Bought this phone for my wife for Valentine's day to replace aging, slow Pixel 2. The phone is working great. The battery life is excellent - lower the screen brightness to 75-80%. The screen is easier to read. The phone is beautiful and good looking. Camera is really superb. She is a photo/video nut now. She is thrilled and very happy.
