I was looking for earbuds with both noise canceling for exercise and an ambient mode to hear my coworkers at the office. I tried several before ordering these, but none quite worked out. These are different, however. I didn't think they would be at first, because just like the others, they kept slipping out of my ears, and the noise canceling wasn't that great. I'm glad I bought the Comply ear tips to go with these, because as soon as I changed those ear tips, my entire experience changed for the better. I tried them out in the grocery store; before I put them in there was the usual background noise from the air conditioning, the store's music, and the fans in the freezer section. After I put them in, but before I turned on noise canceling, the background noise was reduced. Once I turned on the noise canceling, all of that noise completely disappeared. I have no worry about them falling out of my ears, and I really enjoy that as soon as I start speaking to a coworker, I can clearly hear everything around me around me because of the automatic switch to ambient mode and volume lowering. I literally listen to them almost all day every day at work. I say almost, because, unfortunately, the charge only lasts half a work day, so I have to charge them at lunch. Sometimes if I end up going to lunch late, I have to put them on to charging before I go to lunch. That's the only drawback. ... show more

    • Solid earbuds for the price!
I want to start the review by saying first and foremost, I like these earbuds and use them quite a bit, but I am glad I saved the money and bought refurbs since they'll likely become a backup pair to a better fit for me in the near future. Few things to keep in mind that I think are fairly minor but things to be considerate of: The ambient noise cancellation is great, I never realized how nice it could be to deafen out the extra noise in a busy store or while walking down the street. The sound quality is really nice, the configurable settings for sound really help you enhance the experience to your liking. Airplane tested and approved, although they won't last through all day without a few recharges. These are advertised with up to four hours of play time, I'd say it's more like 2.5 listening to music. This is reduced to around 1.5 hours when I sync them to my laptop and use them with Zoom. The charging case included will charge the earbuds twice before being needing to be charged itself - When I travel all day, I typically need to use my portable charger to charge my earbud charger at least once, if not twice, so if you travel without external power you may want to invest in a second charging case. The ear fit is as expected for true 'ear bud' style buds - That is I wouldn't recommend them for working out. Or doing much more than walking around, quite frankly. Probably not a good idea to bend over for something, either. I had to turn off the touch settings because they are super sensitive and respond to any area you can touch. I would normally consider this to be a good thing, but there's limited configuration available on the settings and no way to distinguish adjusting the earbuds vs using the touch controls. You either a) deal with pausing your music or skipping a song while adjusting the bud, or b) turn it off and control the music via voice or on your phone which is kind of a pain. They're not blow your mind awesome - the battery life leaves a lot to be desired, they may not be a good fit in the ear like they aren't for me, and you may think the touch thing is as annoying as I do. Overall, however, they'd likely meet or exceed the expectations of a casual user. ... show more

    • Arrived with dangerous silicone tips that constantly fell off inside my ear. ANC didn't work at all.
ANC was truly terrible. I don't know if the unit I got was damaged but the noise cancellation was better with ANC off (just with the earbud sealing). Turning ANC on made no difference at all in any environment. I used them in the gym, in my office, in the road and could notice that when turning on ANC noise wasn't reduced but sounds on some frequencies were being amplified. The worst problem was the silicone tips on the package. I guess in order to send clean ones they sent me a little bag with 3 sizes of non original new tips. I tried all of them and decided to use the big ones, but the shape of the hole didn't match the shape of the original tips. When I take the headphones out of my ear the tips always slip from the earbud. I had a horrible experience where a friend had to use tweezers to get the tip out of my ear. Sound was decent. Microphone quality was exceptional, but after all this problems I had to return them. ... show more

I bought the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro as a refurbished item after my one of my Buds Live stopped working. I was happy to get them for under $100 as they are the top Samsung buds. I use them when I go running, but I have to adjust often as they start to pop out. The Buds Live stayed in better. I can hear the sound of my feet on the floor which is a pain. I have tried the ambient noise feature but it feels as if there's a microphone against the wind and it's much worse so I use the ANC instead. Ironically I do like using them when not running because I can use the ANC and enjoy the really nice sound. Using the ambient mode is also much better indoors. However, running is the main reason I got them and I'm considering returning these and getting some other open style buds. (I'm not willing to pay $18 for replacement ear tips that will hopefully stay in better). I have not had a problem with the battery life. ... show more
