Nice A36 phone upgrade from the A35
Color: White
This is a great, unlocked phone. Worked perfectly on our ATT plan (U.S.) so, perfectly compatible. Just popped the sim out of the A35 and into this A36. It worked right off the bat and did not have to call carrier to change IMEI either. Had to change the language to English on initial boot since this is an international phone. Our A35 was bricked after being caught in a two-hour rainstorm on a motorcycle ride, oops. Basically, submerged in water for two hours at 65mph. However, the transfer of photos, contacts and everything else went seamlessly from the shared server (aka "cloud" lol) backup. Windows phone link transferred any (intentional) non-cloud files from the A35's SD to the A36 quickly as well. This phone is slightly bigger than the A35 so, a new case was in order as well. Had no trouble finding a cool one here on Amazon. This A36 is fast, and 256GB so, nice default storage. Now, storage. The only thing I do not like about the A36. There is no SD card allowed with the carriers SIM installed. It has dual SIM yes but, no way to put an SD in the other SIM position. You have to use either an SD or SIM(s). The SD goes into the entire SIM slot after you remove the SIM tray. Well, I don't like that but, the shared servers hold so much data now-a-days it is not too much of an issue. The A36 connected flawlessly with Windows Phone Link (link to phone) so, using the PC for file transfer, messaging, photo management and phone calls is a breeze and SUPER handy. The web browser(s) is/are current and updated unlike i devices which are 4 years behind in processing css, html5 (and other) code which, as a coder is very important to me. I am still forced to write backward compatible and unique code to support these outdated parsers. Hey, i's are great hardware but, lack in the os and policies. As a full time coder for 35 years now, I will digress. I use my phone as a tool, not the other way around. The Android 16 (comes with 15 but updates quickly to 16) is great and allows me to install whatever I want and test the applications I have written with ease. Did not come with any bloatware just the normal stuff which prompts you to allow or disallow on setup (games center whatever). Not forced into installing crap that eats battery in the background or collects data. The 50MP camera is just simply amazing and video is as well. This A36 connected to my wife's Galaxy Watch very quickly and easily. This A36 feels really good in my hand and seems pretty durable. We got the white one but, matters not as it went right into a case. This unlocked A36 is a great workhorse phone for us and WAY cheaper than trendy phones that have less capability. My wife and I are very happy with the A36 but, will toss into the saddlebag next time we ride in a downpour! ... show more

Samsung A-36
Color: White
This is my 2nd Samsung A36 smartphone in 2 years. Overall, a decent mid-range smartphone. I had 256 gb internal storage in this smartphone, 8GB memory RAM for fairly decent performance, camera takes decent photos especially during the daylight and early evening/sunset hours and build quality is very good and also feels solid. Glass back and front with Gorilla Glass screen protector makes it a pretty stoutly protected smartphone, especially when you get a decent smartphone cover for this smartphone and I got a decent smartphone case already for my Samsung A36 for maximum protection. PROS: 256 GB of internal storage, 8 GB of memory RAM, 5G connection, excellent build quality, water resistant IP-67, camera performance pretty good, excellent video quality, AMOLED Screen and 120 hertz screen refresh rate. CONS: Could use 10 or 12 GB memory RAM for added speed and camera set up needs to replace the macro with a telephone lens. NOT a gaming smartphone, just for light gaming. Overall, a pretty good solid mid-range 5G smartphone for around $300 and really does about everything well enough to get by just fine doing regular phone calls, text messaging, regular internet stuff/social media and very lightweight gaming. 5 stars ... show more

Great buy!
Color: White
So I'll just start off apologizing for new pictures, I only have the one phone so.. Anyway, so far I love the phone. I've used xiaomi phones for years but recently I decided to try the samsung. The international version is better in my opinion than the US mainly because there's no bloatware, so nothing to really uninstall :-) for a low price to mid range phone you can't go wrong. The screen is great, it's fast, plenty of storage... I definitely recommend trying it. ... show more

Good Phone
Color: Black
Good for the Price. Fingerprint sensor can take some time to open the phone. Multitasking can be a bit slow swicthing between apps but aside from that its pretty good.

No internet service
Color: Black
I have had this phone for 9 months and purchased because it appeared to be a good deal. I was wrong. The phone will not access the internet consistently when I am not on wifi service. I have exhaustively run through the diagnostics and settings and have replaced the sim card. Still does not work. My wife has a similar phone that she purchased new and it works fine so clearly it is the phone and not the service from T-Mobile. Do yourself a favor and stay away from buying junk like this just to save a few bucks. ... show more

Horrible scam in the US- do not buy!
Great phone. Doesn't work with US networks. Only international, which means 3g service only. Took me forever to figure that out so I was beyond the return window. Not just a software thing, it physically is missing the antenna. Complete scam to be sold in the US market.
