I love this product, very easy to use, mixes my protein powder very well. The only reason why I'm not giving it 5 stars is that after a couple months of use, it stopped working. But fortunately, the folks at Voltrx were able to very quickly send me a replacement. I'm hoping this will last longer.

It is now 3 months after purchase date (and out of the return window) and I went to use my blender this morning (I have only used it about half a dozen times since purchase) and the spinner motor was turning but the blender bars inside were not. I only had milk and protein powder in there. I emptied all that out and tried to see if the blender bars were actually NOT turning (can't see well through milk) and I replaced it with plain tap water to see what was happening. The spinners were moving SO slowly that they were barely moving at all (with just tap water in it!). I wondered if it was the motor or if it was just resistance presented by the water so I poured the water out and tried turning it on with an empty cup. THEN the spinners worked just fine and at the speed they were supposed to which does no one any good since you are buying this thing to mix more than air in the cup. I have contacted the seller about this because I am furious. NO ONE LIKES WASTING THEIR MONEY and it doesn't matter how small the amount of money is (although the more expensive the greater the level of outrage and feeling like you have been defrauded). I am hoping they will make this right and this is not the expected level of quality from all their blender bottles. We'll see. Until then, caveat emptor my friends. Spend the extra money and buy something that you can be confident will last instead of buying something just because it looked cute. This was my original review: If you need something lightweight and portable, this is GREAT for things like mixing water flavoring powders or BCAA supplements into liquid but this will become a disappointment if you are trying to mix protein powder or meal replacement shakes. If you are a power user of protein drinks and need a blender for heavy duty every day use or to use on a regular basis with something thicker than liquid and a tiny thimble full of supplement powder, this is not the one. I loved this thing but after 2nd use, the battery at 70-80% power would not stay running for longer than 30 seconds no matter how many times you press the button.

tl;dr Powerful enough to mix protein powder and creamy nut butter but battery life requires more frequent charges than expected. Would recommend for portable mixing! Pros: + The motor base is quite compact and charges quickly with USBC + There's enough power to mix multiple scoops of protein powder in almond milk and creamy nut butter + The vortex is quite visible and it's quite pleasing to see your ingredients get mixed in + RGB lights a plus Cons: - Battery of the motor will likely need to be charged after around 20-30 uses. Realistically, I use about 2-3 30 second mixes each time since I'm mixing multiple ingredients (protein powder, fiber powder, nut butter etc). So after 10 sessions, I need to recharge. The good thing is the base recharges very fast. Approx 15 min gets me back to full. - If you don't have enough liquid, the vortex creates a gap in the middle (see last picture) where your ingredients will not mix. Not really a con, just gotta pay attention. - Cap feels very cheap

I’ve waited a few months before writing my review. This thing has lasted me for good amount of time. I use it everyday. I also tried it with hot things such as tea and coffee but I wouldn’t recommend unless you want to stain it and give it a shorter lifespan. Design is cool, doesn’t leak one bit with the lid fully down or on its lesser closed option(which I’m sure some people don’t know the lid has 2 closing options, half and full). Overall best purchase ever. Battery lasts me for about 2-3 weeks but I also keep up with charging when needed. I wash with battery attached since I don’t use a dish washer and it works well. Finally I use ice in some of my drinks or mixes and that works out great. It doesn’t blend it of course but it mixes it well.
