I bought the device as a gift for my wife at the start of the holiday shopping season. She opened it at the end of December and by the end of January it was completely useless, absolutely refusing to connect to network or carry a signal. Of course, because the return warranty only covered the time it was wrapped under the tree, there's nothing anyone can do. We are accustomed to buying down rev LG phones like G7, V60, and the screen on this was a massive step down - horrible by comparison actually. My wife dropped it and screen broke - she has not broken a screen in many years. Extra fragile?

Do not buy this phone from the gadget deals. The screen turns black. It rings but you never know who is calling because the screen is black. Can't reset it. It's been charging for days but you still can't use the phone
