My wife and I each bought the A32 5G. Reviews said it was good and the refurbished models we bought were quite inexpensive. I've used it about 2 weeks. There is a learning curve (at least for me, who's an oldie for which things don't come naturally like it does with the youngsters) but you can download the manual. I can only judge the A32 in comparison to the Samsung Galaxy S5 I previously used. The A32 takes a little bit longer to charge, but is lasting a whole lot longer than the S5. The A32 is so much quicker than the S5. It was somewhat frustrating to wait for the S5 to process instructions. We chose the A32s because of the cameras. Didn't mean anything to me but it did to my wife, and so far she is pleased with the quality of the cameras. The A32s are about an inch longer than the S5, which means I can't close the flap on my cargo pockets. And it is noticeably heavier than the S5. But neither of these changes is major to me. And the A32 is slippery. We put screen protectors on immediately. The protector is slippery, of course, like any glass. But the back of the A32 is just as slippery, so we have to be careful when picking them up. Again, not a major issue. Overall, yes, we are quite pleased with the phones. ... show more

I have never given a 1 star Review. Ever. Not here, or even on Google Reviews or Yelp. I've been lucky in the quality department. But, not this time. I had this Samsung A32 (5G) phone before, and love it, but the screen cracked, so I bought another one here, because I love the Samsung A32 (5g). BUT, this phone is no good. The phone SIM TRAY DOES NOT WORK. The sim tray is broken. I put in a working Sim Card, and the Phone says: NO SIM / NO SERVICE. I even went to my local Cell Phone store, and I did not let him know what was going on, he said: the phone Sim / SD tray is not working. So, if you are looking for a WiFi only phone, it will be fine. False advertising or else I got a defective one. I'm super disappointed in this purchase. ... show more

Went to AT&T store, not a franchise, as I was not charged for the new SIM. New phone was activated, received texts that were sent while old phone was offline, new phone started downloading updates after adding Google account and connected to wifi. Thought all was well. Then, tried to send text, says no network. Reboot phone. Says invalid SIM. Store associate says unlocked phone incompatible, should have bought direct from AT&T. Leave store. New phone receives Android operating system update, again via wifi. Install update, restart, no more invalid SIM message. Able to call, text, connect to AT&T network just fine. Details: Android 12 Update received 2022-08-25 Dont subscribe to 5G service plan, so can't say if that works or not. ... show more

Pretty happy with this phone. For a "renewed" phone, it looks brand new. No scratches, clean as a whistle. Used SmartSwitch to transfer my old Moto G6 apps/settings to this phone. Disabled most of the Samsung bloatware, installed Nova7 launcher and all my settings from the Moto. Phone came with Android 11, upgraded itself to Android 12 today. I'm still finding changes, but most of them are differences between Android 9 and 12. Battery life is great. Speed is better than the Moto. Some reviews complain about screen density, but I'm not a gamer and find the display to be excellent. 5G worked in town. I use an MVNO called Unreal Mobile ($180/year - Unlimited data/month, slows after 3GB of usage - unlimited text/mms/talk - comes to $15/month). Unreal uses the AT&T network so has coverage just about everywhere in the US. Popped the SIM card in, it already had my APN settings and the phone just worked. I paid $150 for it, and see that it's down to $141 as I write this. Can't recommend it enough - great way to get to 5G and Android 12 for not much. ... show more
