So far, mostly good, especially for the price. But one MAJOR Flaw: No way to move apps to SD card. I hope that gets fixed. I looked in forums and other people had the same issue. I got the phone today, upgraded from my J7 that I have had for over 3 years. The J7 is basic but has been great. I got this A21 on a prime day deal, figuring I'd take advantage of a good deal before my old phone craps out. I'll update the review after I have used the phone for a bit, but so farz easy transfer of my apps, wallpapers and date, photos and all, using the built in Smart Switch app. I just had to download the app to my old phone and almost everything copied over (note: it looks like it does it super quick because you get a confirmation after about a minute, but it does take time to fully copy over. Not that long though. It was about an hour). My only gripe so far is the inability to move apps to the SD card. But it has twice as much storage space as my J7 and it's only $250 (I got mine for $199 on prime day). Also to note, it lags a bit on opening some apps and updating pages. My J7 is actually slightly faster. Nothing of major concern yet though. ... show more

Pretty good for what I need. Not sure how to give a phone that makes phone calls, texts, emails, goes online, tells the time and date, keeps my alarms, and plays my music can go wrong, so.... It is bigger than my previous phone. Like twice the size, so it doesn't fit in pockets and stuff as well, but.../shrug...can't have everything...lol. Good Luck! ... show more

Moms old smartphone was about 5 years old, and network changes and firmware updates were leaving it more and more in the dust. Using samsung myself, I chose to stay on brand for her upgrade, but she insists a higher-end phone is wasted on her. This model was great for her needs... and honestly, I'd have bought it for me, if I needed a new phone. Its specifications are really nice, its camera takes great photos, and the screen is lovely to look at. Its bigger than my old galaxy 8+! ... show more

Originally I wrote a decent review for this phone but the longer I have it the more I hate it. From day 1 No SD Cards work in it. I've even tried buying new cards. They work in other devices just fine but not this phone. When listening to music through bluetooth The music will randomly cut out for a second or 2 and I know it's the bluetooth because I don't have the issue with headphones. And the worst part is the screen. The phone constantly acts like i'm holding it down, or it'll randomly pull down the settings and notification menu, or sometimes just won't react at all, and the only way to fix it is to turn off the screen and unlock the phone but it's usually just a very temporary fix, You'll be dealing with it again within minuets. I assumed it was my screen protector or certain apps but I have these issues even when not using apps or screen protectors. The screen itself is just broken and randomly reacts. I use to like Samsung products but I don't think I'll ever buy one again. I've used plenty of phones of similar price from other brands without issue. DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE! Edit: This is the 3rd time I've updated this review because somehow this phone always has more problems. After having the phone for only 9 months my data started having serious issues. Most apps just didn't work with data and some apps sometimes worked. I assumed it was an issue with my carrier but they said they tried everything they could to fix it. I decided to try my sim on an old phone I thought was locked. I was surprised my data worked just fine. So somehow this phone managed to break data. I've decided I would rather use this old and sometimes slow phone of this Horrible A21. It's far better than having to deal with barley working data, Annoying and constant screen mis-inputs, and all the other annoying issues. ... show more

    • Trying Samsung But Disappointed

Discovered phone was used. Could not transfer/activate Tracfone service bc the installed SIM card # did not match the SIM card info that was provided with phone. Tracfone Tech instructed me to check the SIM card inside the phone and found to be different. May be reason first buyer returned the phone to seller (Emily's Store). Seller may or may not have known there was a problem, but all merchandise should be checked before reselling. Disappointed in some basic functions that require more manipulation (2-3 screens) to finalize. Some settings/functions are unclear on the screen, so trial and error approach is required. 1Weather app is available and working, but the information bar that is displayed on LG phone home screen will not display on Samsung. LG 1Weather always displays current temp & time. Samsung does not. It has to be manually updated. ... show more
