The media could not be loaded. I was able to get it to rotate by holding the menu button. After reading the other reviews I was concerned but it has actually been seamless for me w my 65” the frame, it’s one of the models that is listed in the description just check yr model number to make sure its supported. I’ve been using my own uploaded art to get the vertical art to look nice. There’s free art on the Getty archives website u don’t need to pay samsungthe $5 a month, and I keep it vertical when it’s off. I feel like a James Bond villain. I’d advise getting it professionally installed. I had a friend who works in art installation come and help with it. Good to make sure it’s done right.

I've been back and forth with Best Buy and Samsung only to learn 'it's not supported" - The whole point of this thing is to be able to display Frame art in portrait mode. This is not possible with the new 2024 Frame models. How a company like Samsung can let a product gap like this go to market is astonishing. I like their TVs a ton (hence me buying two new Frame TVs), but this lack of forward compatibility is a black eye to their organization from my point of view. Even though it won't "auto" rotate, you can manually do so (which is probably horrible for the mechanics of it), but even if you do, the TV won't receive that orientation change and there's no value in putting it into portrait mode whatsoever. In it's defense, it is very low profile, so swapping it back out (although it costly) for the stock Frame mount is moot. My only hope is that Samsung has a software update that will address this in the future. Until then, it won't do what it's designed to do for 2024 Frames.

It took a while to find a solution for the Samsung 2024 frame. By holding down the top left settings button for 5-10 seconds. Works GREAT!!! You can then rotate the mount by long pressing the home button .

This is a cool idea that simply isn't ready for prime time. I am pairing this mount with the 43" Samsung frame 2022 version. Bottom line up front: It does rotate, but you have to press a button to do it. My intent when purchasing this item was to have it rotate based on the photo orientation in my slideshow. I.E. if the photo was a landscape the unit would rotate to landscape mode, conversely it would go to portrait mode for photos that were oriented in portrait mode. It simply does not do this. Installation: The installation wasn't difficult, however this instructions are pretty bad. I found a youtube video that was very helpful. So I didn't have any difficulties installing the unit. The biggest issue is the routing of the cable.. make sure it isn't too tight as you may end up binding it. Quality: The quality seems to be good. It isn't quite when rotating, but the sound isn't bad.. Mostly motor, no grinding or anything like that. Ill write another review on the Samsung Frame as well. This monitor is frustrating at best. The picture quality is nice but if you are using this exclusively as a photo frame, and expect it to automatically turn on when you come into the room, its just not ready yet.

The media could not be loaded. I bought an amazon return for a little over $200 and at that price I'm on the fence about it. It rotates at the push of a button but you have to PRESS THE BUTTON. I could have maybe got a cheaper mount and just manually rotated the frame from landscape to portrait mode by hand. It's installed an on the wall not though so not going to worry about it. Now one thing to note is that if you have a Samsung phone it will mirror your display and if you rotate your phone from landscape to portrait mode it does automatically rotate the screen to the correct orientation. Just not sure why it doesn't do that for photos and art. No way I would have paid retail $499 or even $300 current price for this though. The video I attached is real time from me pressing the button to full rotation. This connects wirelessly to the TV but requires it's won power cable / supply. It comes with it but still. It's another wire to hide if you are planning to hide the wires in the wall.

Obviously made in a third world country where they have no idea what they are doing. Rather than a simple Bluetooth button you can press from a remote to make the tv rotate, you have to wire this into your television. Then, when you want the TV to rotate you have to go into your settings and select multi view and then search for a view that will then allow you to enter the new setting to make the TV turn. Wow! You made this the most ridiculous complicated process and took all the fun out of having a TV that can rotate on command with a push of a button. Instead we get this; "Hey watch my TV turn... wait a minute.... I just have to change these settings.... hold on... now I have to find the view setting... hold on... I almost got it... wait... ok that's it... now watch it turn.... ok wait I need to change to another setting so we can watch a show... hold on I just have to go back into my settings again..." This is totally going back first thing tomorrow morning. What an over priced piece of garbage. I wonder if they make a garage door opener that you have to first run inside the house and turn on the vacuum before running back outside for your garage to open "automatically"
