These headphones are incredibly comfortable, although not completely Noice Cancelling headphone but does the job, it can subtract 70% ambient noise in the plane, and you can turn on/off ANC by remote in the cord, also you can select to talk in mode, very easy to use. I'm not audiophile, for me the sound is amazing, no problems with bass or anything else. Microphone worked great too, the other end no complaint, and they feedback the sounded clear, loud and no ambient noise, even I talked in the subway. I had a Bose Quiet Comfort 15 that served me well for nearly 10 years, but the earpads needed to be replaced. I travel frequently on long distance international flights so I really appreciated the ANC on the Bose, but I was getting tired of carrying the bulk. So I looked for the earbud type. To my surprise the Samsung ANC headset was only $28.99 (cheaper than the Bose OEM earpad replacement) vs $250 for Bose ANC earbuds. Upon receiving it, I couldn't get over the quality packaging. Anyway, I used this on a 22 hour trip (19 hr flight with 3 hours layover), and the battery lasted 20 hours on a single charge. The ANC worked while charging too. Plus with the ANC off, it works like a normal earphone. The ANC may not be as good as the Bose to the discerning user; but for the price, it gets a solid A in my book. The airplane engine noise was greatly reduced. I was so happy with it, I bought another three for gifts. The build quality is excellent as well. I bought these earphones a couple of months back. I have just got round to opening them. Sadly nothing happens when switching on the noise cancelation. I have had Bose noise cancelling earphones for the last 5 years so kind of know what to expect. In this case nothing beyond the NC light switching on happens. Noise remains the same. Also the ear buds don't stay in the ear. Worst earphones I have ever bought by far ... show more

Don't let fake reviews blind you. This is a great product. I've tried numerous active noise cancelling earphones and this one is the most durable and effective. I ride the NYC subway to and from work daily and these work perfectly. However, to get the best result, you need aftermarket ear tips, like foam tips that act like earplugs. This is the major advantage over Bose since you can't switch out to foam tips on that brand. You need some passive noise cancelling to get the full benefit of the active noise cancelling. The sound is good on these. After about a year of daily use, I've noticed some degradation in the battery which is the only con. Luckily it still works while charging so I use a portable battery when I need. The cable has a nylon wrap which also adds to durability, especially at joints where I've had numerous earphones fray or lose connection. I already got a second one for my spouse, and was thinking of getting another for myself in case they discontinue the model. ... show more

I like the metal assembly of these earbuds. Came with a charger and different earbud sizes. comfortable and easy to wear. the battery pack is a bit cumbersome with active lifestyle use. kept hitting my leg while jogging. Purchasing lavaliere clips to keep it more steady while moving. this might also be needed for you. needed to set my phones eq (galaxy note 9) as i found the flat bass response levels a bit low for my taste. ... show more

    • Noise cancellation is not fantastic, but they are OK for the price
These are like a cheap copy of the Bose QuietComfort 20 Acoustic Noise Cancelling Headphones. If you bear in mind that you are just paying a fraction of the Bose's price, they are very acceptable. Battery life is nice (at least for a 3-hour flight), comfort is so-so and noise reduction is not great but helps a bit. They come nicely packed, with a nice travel pouch, something I appreciate a lot. I would recommend them for somebody on a budget who doesn't want to break the bank with some Bose or Sony high-end products. The trade-off is tolerable. ... show more
