This phone was not unlocked as per T-Mobile & AT&T. I was originally with T-Mobile and tried to use the phone, I was unsuccessful, then switched carrier to AT&T thinking it was the carrier, because this was a new phone. Well tech support at AT&T figured it out, it was this defective phone, first it was not unlocked, nor does it have WI-FI calling capabilities. So in other words it is useless. Love this phone. I've had 3 now over the last 7 years. I have neuropathy in my hands and drop my phone a couple of times a day so it holds up to abuse very well.

Battery and vibration motor had no adhesive and screen was a cheap aftermarket one over the normal samsung original. As someone who works with phones as a job this phone ain't too bad could be better. Back wasn't on with the proper adhesive on the back I took it apart without using a heat gun or heat mat just my nails. ... show more

    • Phone NOT unlocked as advertised
The phone was NOT unlocked as advertised. I could not add it to my carrier because of this. I called Amazon and they said they couldn't unlock it and told me that Samsung could. I called Samsung and they said that they can't unlock it because it is locked to T-Mobile through firmware and to call them. I called T-Mobile and they said they can't unlock it and it's not an active phone on any T-Mobile accounts (I don't know why it can't be unlocked then) and they routed me back to Amazon because Amazon could do it for me. I wasn't even going to call Amazon back. I had already wasted 6 hours of my time on the phone or on home to no avail. It was completely useless and a waste of time. I will never order another phone on Amazon again. Please save your time and frustration.. I am really ticked off. Now I have to return the phone and wait 7 to 10 days for a refund and I am still without a phone. NEVER AGAIN. ... show more
