This monitor is great and worked flawlessly for almost a year. I use it mostly for work and use the USB-C port to connect my MacBook, and for that purpose it continues to work great. Quality and brightness are good. The USB-A ports on the back of the monitor are convenient and worked until recently. I've done a lot of testing with cords/devices among all the USB-A ports to make sure it wasn't something I was doing wrong and it seems like the ports are not capable of transmitting data anymore, but will still charge a device connected to it. This is a little disappointing as I used to have a webcam plugged into it but now it doesn't work. Other than that this monitor has been worth the purchase. I will update this review later if all the ports start to work again. EDIT: the ports started working again after a couple weeks and have not had any issues since. ... show more

This monitor is a dock station and charger all in one. I wanted to be able to plug and unplug my laptop seamlessly. By connecting to the one usbc, the laptop connects to the monitor, mouse, keyboard instantly while even charging faster than the standard charger. Please do not buy that garbage. The monitor was the worst purchase I’ve ever made in my entire life. Everything about it is negative: poor build quality, backlight bleed, ghosting issues, and the HDR mode doesn’t work—it distorts the resolution of videos. I ordered two of these, tried on Mac and windows, no problems. Monitor charges both systems without issue. I also have my desktop plugged in so I can use the system when working from home. I still hate the joystick controls on the bottom of monitors, but beats dells where it is on the back. I have been using this for about a month now, and do not think I could go back. ... show more

Use product for work, had a dell 32” curved 4K for 4 months and it pixelated right down the right side, no help from dell, they do not do repairs, period. On 2 months with this Samsung, hoping it last longer. The problem with this one doesn’t seem as sharp as the dell monitor.

    • Worked fine for 5 months....now not so great
Used this to have a much bigger screen for my new MacBook Air. Loved it for a while and suddenly it just goes black randomly while using it. I would say about every minute or so. Then it comes back on. I don't know if it's a power supply issue, bad plug or what but it's driving me absolutely CRAZY- impossible to work when your monitor keeps going black!!! Right after it turns back on the menu for the monitor also appears... very odd. Love the monitor but think I got a dud and now too late to return- NOT HAPPY. ... show more

    • Turn off "Eco Sensor Mode" and "Max Power Saving"!
Turn off "Eco Sensor Mode" and "Max Power Saving" options!! Then the screen magically is as bright as I want it to be. Samsung is guaranteeing unhappy customers by producing these monitors with these options. Great monitor now!
