This was a little more expensive ($20) than at Lowe's or Home Depot, but the same product, and got it without a delivery charge (HD & Lowe's wanted $39 - so the it was still cheaper to get it through Amazon). The dryer fit perfectly on top. The feet are true rubber, so it was a little burdensome to push the entire thing back into place, but after putting a rug under it, sliding it into place, I was able to tip the unit to free the rug. Bought 2 of these for my washer and dryer to sit on. Good height for me. I’m 5ft tall. They have a strong smell inside the drawers. I can’t fit my arm and hammer laundry detergent bottle in it but I switched to Molly’s Suds Laundry Sheet so that’s not an issue anymore. I can fit my Dr. Bronner 32oz Castle soap bottle in it. This Samsung pedestal is heavy so you will need help installing it. The surface is a nice white that matches my washer and dryer. There are protective mount points on the top surface for the washer or dryer to sit on. It does not sit directly on the metal. It has a drawer as wide as the unit for storing items (laundry detergent, cleaning towels - my laundry room gets a little dusty, and Bounce dryer sheets). I have not installed it yet because I purchased 2 of these. Once I receive the 2nd unit, I'll have my boys over to help me install them. It will really help with the front loader washer and dryer. I'm not a happy customer. We ordered 2 pedestals and one arrived with a big scratch. Exchanging it for new one was very easy and seamless. However, once we started to put these to use, we noticed that the clamps or leg guides were not included. The Amazon site says to contact Samsung to missing parts, which is what we did. Samsung passed me to 5 different people and unfortunately my call got disconnected. Looks like I'm going to have to return/exchange these because they are unusable with that part.
