I’ve been a fan of Samsung memory for years. Samsung is my go to company for everything memory related. So when I noticed this 16gb DDR3L kit for $69, I was happy to buy it. I installed this in my 2012 vintage HP DV7T-6100 and relaxed the 8gb DDR3 memory that my laptop came with. My laptop now boots up even faster and apps are more responsive. I already depend on Samsung for my 840 Pro and 860 Evo drives, so getting Samsung memory is a no brainer. Arrived on time, installed in less than a minute. Immediately recognized the new ram, Yes I am a happy man. I have a Dell micro note book pro. So it was easy to install. Pull the battery remove two screws and wham done. If you have an entry level note book most likely you have to open up the unit to get to the Ram or even the HDD but not this one. Anyway, it made my already fast note book that much faster. Surer there is Ram out there cheaper than Samsung but price to performance is hard to beat Samsung. Will buy more Samsung products. I have a HP ZBook, first gen, that had 16gb of RAM [4 x 4gb sticks]. I pulled out two of the sticks and swapped them with these, giving me now 24gb, and it definitely has made a difference. The extra room has certainly helped with my video editing but also seems to have sped up just routine tasks. Checking with the Win 10's utility it shows that the manufacturer is indeed Samsung. I will be getting 2 more sticks to swap out the last two 4gb sticks. ... show more

I chose Samsung for my RAM purchase because after having been a PC tech for over 20 years, I knew the quality was there. To me it's not worth saving a few dollars on a no name brand RAM as I have seen the problems that have been caused by poor quality control on some of those items. The Samsung RAM installed easily with no problems and is working just fine. I don't anticipate any chip failures. I recommend this product enthusiastically. ... show more

My computer had 2x4 Gb Samsung 204-pin SODIMM, DDR3 PC3L-12800, 1600MHz ram, I needed a matched set of 8 Gb to stay with dual channel. Went in great and worked no snags. Note: I Updated the computer bios prior to installation, and this is a must! I am not totally sure that I needed the extra 8 Gb of ram, but that was all I could do to upgrade the computer. Compre la memoria para actualizar una All in One, la Acer Aspire Z3. La verdad la memoria quedo perfecta y el rendimiento de la maquina fue muchisimo mejor. Se las recomiendo, incluso al proveedor ya que todo llego perfecto.     • No issues, performs the way it should
works really well deff got rid of a throttling problem I was having on my 6y/o alienware laptop. Processor can now run 100% without completely maxing ram. No issues at start up and decently priced, and brought a little bit of snap back to this old comp.
