This product was purchased prematurely for a kitchen remodel. I checked for damage when it showed up and looked “okay” at the time. Now that I installed it there is a 2” deep dent in the bottom that won’t allow it to sit straight and the door will not open. You have to have 3 hands to pull the door open while pressing the button. Samsung has a fantastic customer service and great app. I found this out the hard way we had a built-in microwave that died. It was about this exact size so here we are replacing our built-in with this countertop model. You can buy the attachments separately to make this a built-in there is a feature on there where the door automatically locks so you can’t just pop the door open and get your food out you can disable this but anytime your power goes out the setting reverse. It’s something to know, but it just does not make a difference to us because you can easily turn it off. You can also turn off the beeping which drives me crazy. I’ve been pleased with it. I will tell you the inside of this is black, which is great because inevitably something always spills inside the microwave and then there’s that weird discolored spot in the back of it that looks off you can’t see anything in the inside of this because the entire thing is black comes with a warranty, make sure you register it on your Samsung SmartThings app there is a noise while it is cooking. Barely 3 months in use (not even 2 times a day) and got the famous error C-D1 (unfortunately I got to learn about it too late) This poorly manufactured microwave has a interlock in the door that is electronic, and apparently is expected to fail and when it fails you can’t use the microwave anymore unless you absorb the repair costs Don’t buy it, if you do, get the extended warranty But I don’t think anyone would be willing to deal with this headache right? ... show more

The “unlock” feature is the most unnecessary and frustrating microwave element I’ve ever encountered. No idea why anyone would think people would want to *have to* press an unlock button before the regular open button will open, but it’s really stupid. If I had been given the choice to buy any other microwave, I would have; but I was given the chance to buy this one for very cheap (used) and I did. DON'T BUY FROM AMAZON - BUY DIRECTLY FROM SAMSUNG. I've only had the microwave 5 months - and now it doesn't work. I had Samsung Tech come out and they took the unit apart and discovered that it was damaged during shipping. So they won't replace it and Amazon - won't replace it either (I just spent 45 mins on the chat with them - and the agent pretty much told me I was out of luck and disconnected the chat - now I have to get a copy of the transcript because it was crazy rude). ... show more
