Excellent bag, exactly what I wanted. Zipped pockets everywhere to keep things in order. Side pockets perfect for carrying pills. Holds my 14 inch X1 Carbon but will not hold anything larger. Beside it is my trusty Briggs & Riley which is beautifully built too but without the many zipped pockets so not as well-thought-out. Most important point when chosing this backpack was how it would fit on top of the Tumi Alpha 2 carry-on. I was considering this particular backpack and the Kombi Large. Glad I made a good choice, the large backpack would be oversized for my needs. On photos, Dell XPS 9370 (in a CaseLogic sleeve) fits the laptop compartment, while the older (2012) MacBook Pro fits without sleeve. Considering that Tumi is a smaller carry-on, having additional luggage item to increase the capacity of your carry-on is a must. In my opinion, the backpack of this size would not look too bulky to be allowed when boarding the plane. In addition to the laptop it can easily fit toiletry kit, pullover or a windbreaker.
