This was purchased to replace the same make and model bag that i had used for years, but the pull out handle failed on it. This is, IMHO, the perfect carry on bag. I find that if I can get the zippers to close, no matter how much I have stuffed in the bag, that it will fit in the overhead bin of a 737 (the plane I fly most in). The wheels don't look very tough, but we will see. They don't look as beefy as those that were on my old bag; time will tell.

We upgraded from standard rolling suitcases to these and they worked great. We were able to fit everything in great and the teal color is very pretty. We’re happy to have a different color than the standard black. I also like that there is two spots in each to put an AirTag. The only thing I don’t like is the zippers don’t seem super durable and zip a little hard, but they did hold up and didn’t come off track.

I've looked around at the few most popular luggage brands - this Ascella X model has the largest interior dimensions while still being good for US carry on size. This is the 4th one we've bought - used the other 3 for about 9 months. All have easy maneuverability and other simple and sturdy construction.

My first online suitcase purchase wasn't what I was looking for. Too small. Despite my best efforts trying to deduce which sizes are the maximum carry-on size, I messed up on my first attempt so changed up to this brand who got me there. It is the best suitcase I've ever had and have practiced some spinning moves when at the airport due to it's great maneuverability. Passes time nicely and I'm getting pretty good at my moves.

So I got this a year ago and bought it because I had other Samsonite luggage that I’ve had for a good 10 years. This set doesn't live up yo Samsonite quality and stuck with it at this point. First one of the zipper pulls just came right off as if I shaved it off when I pulled it. Then another pulled tab came off and finally a third one came off. I started the warranty process amd sent pictures. They said I had to deliver the luggage to one of their dealers, which is about 40 minutes away from me, amd then they would charge me $20 to ship it yo NY. After contacting them I was told I could pay to ship it to them directly. If they found it didn’t fall under the warranty I would have to pay to have it shipped back in for the repair. I sent them pictures and yet they still couldn’t tell me if it fell under warranty the idea of having to pay at least $40 to ship it back-and-forth for them to tell me if it under warranty was insane I’ll be better off buying new suitcases.

This is a beautiful set of luggage. I purchased the carry on size and slightly larger luggage to go with the under seat carry on so I’d have 3. Gives me flexibility for short or long trips without brining a really huge suitcase. Color is beautiful. Lots of pockets for smaller items.
