Bought for my niece for a Christmas present. It was on her “most wanted” list for Santa. Being the cool aunt I am, I made it happen. She was thrilled, me, not so much. I almost sent it back because I could see before I even opened the box how ****** up her eyelashes were! Like??? But this was dearly wanted by my niece so I kept it and wrapped it. Come Christmas, she is beyond excited that Santa got her doll!! Myself, tasked with breaking the doll free from the factory restraints is BAFFLED by not only multiple zip ties, but a SCREW attached to the back of the dolls head; such a pain to remove. Did Sam require brain surgery before hitting the shelves I wonder… It did come with a special tool to remove said screw, but only after my family laugh and stare at me trying to rescue Sam did we discover oh look! super cute and texture of the skin is nice but it was Super important that I got a baby doll with a functional pacifier, this is a big deal to my daughter….. and the pacifier will not stay in the baby’s mouth, so since the babydoll cannot use the pacifier, she has gone back to taking her sister’s baby doll which is the whole reason i bought this, to get her to stop taking her sisters doll.
