This product only requires a dime to nickel sized amount per area you’re treating. For instance I use a dime size amount per arm for the back of my arms. I love that the product does not have a scent; not even an overwhelming scent left behind after it’s washed off. The instructions recommend to use it only twice per week and also recommends to use sunscreen if you will be in direct sunlight. (FYI it’s good to use sunscreen daily, even if not in direct sunlight, like a quick walk to the car or mailbox). After the first use my skin feels softer, after the first use.

This scrub is made with actual sand, not salt or sugar, so the grit doesnt dissolve like most other kinds. It's super gritty, most other kinds have hardly any grit, this has hundreds and hundreds of micro sand in abundance. It exfoilates better than anything I've ever used. It's an exfoliator that actually works. Great for dry skin. Best thing is that it's grey, and the grit is grey, not crazy colors. I have an allergy to dyes, so I love that it's a neutral color. I love that it has glycolic acid in it too. Theres no scent, it smells not good but not exactly bad, but maybe that's for the best since people tend to be allergic to scents or scents can dry out the skin. The price is very reasonable for a bottle that size. Usually body scub is sparse and runs out way to quickly, this bottle is big and lasts a long time. Because it's so gritty you don't have to use huge handfuls of it, a little goes a long way. Finally someone thought to use a substance that doesnt disolve and actually out a lot of grit in it, with no harsh dyes or scents. Im happy my friend recommended it to me!

I was really excited to use this product! Unfortunately, I had a few issues with it. For one, the product was REALLY hard to get out. I have pretty long nails and I struggle with a form of arthritis I believe. I had a hard time getting any product out and blamed myself at first. My partner struggled just as much as I did though. I ultimately popped the bottle by applying so much pressure but this ended up helping me to get the product out easier anyways! I’m mentioning this because I think this would definitely bother some individuals. My second issue with this product is that it started clogging my drain. I don’t believe the material is good for our plumbing system… I’ve ceased using it for now until I can figure out if it was the culprit for the clogging… That being said- this did what I needed it to. My KP has significantly improved since using this product and has made me feel a lot more confident! I think if they were able to fix the clogging issue and make this degradable like a sugar scrub is, that would be great! I also think their product is too rich and thick to be in a squeeze bottle. I wonder if they could use a jar or another form of packaging.

I’m a big fan chemical exfoliation on the body so I’ve tried most of the popular options: Kopari, Necessair, peach and Lilly… this one by Soltair is definitely my favorite, and almost half the price of those other ones! 5% is the perfect AHA amount, It’s gentle enough to be used pretty often without irritating your skin but it always leaves you with that smooth, rosy skin glow. Definitely going to repurchase. A fun side effect of this one is that it completely got rid of my under arm smell for like 2 days.
