    • Delivers foamy mix where needed.
Before starting, I wash the exterior normally with a bucket of ordinary car wash soap and a sponge. With 1 1/2 oz of the Salt-Away in the mixer, soapy water comes out very foamy long enough to walk around and quickly spray under the bumpers and wheel wells, into the radiator openings, under the rocker panels and towards the engine and towards the rear axle on my small car. There are places on the underside that I can't spray, but I do spray all the seams of the body panels where I know rust tends to form. After spraying underneath, I spray the top and sides of the car until the soap dispenser is so diluted that little foam comes out. Then I use a squeegee and towel to dry it off, leaving the soapy foam on the unseen locations. The bottle will last 21 wash sessions at 1 1/2 ozs. per session. I attach a lightweight 'L' shaped plastic sprayer with a squeeze-lever that lets the water flow. It's a little awkward, and I get soap on myself. The 'L' shape helps get the undersides. I did not like buying a water pressure limiter from Walmart as suggested in the included instructions. Only the big Walmarts have an RV department where the pressure limiters are kept, and the extra length is that much more awkward. The Camco Brass Water Regulator I bought (Walmart #:001038088) allows the Salt-Away Mixer to swivel around in any direction without twisting the hose. Great product, have flushed my Yamaha 150's, 250, and 300 V-6 with no problems. When mechanic checks the cooling systems, they are clean as a whistle.

I don’t care what you do where you are or what you use it on. Anything outside should be cleaned with this. I use this on my boat inside the motors flushing them. I use these on my plow trucks and my personal trucks in the protection is incredible. The protection that this provides invaluable amount of protection. It keeps my trucks nice. It is super effective and the sprayer doesn’t leak like other brands. It doesn’t scrub but it neutralizes the sale. The value for the money is A1 ... show more
