Description

Blister card glaze 3dimensional glossy ink pen set. This 3dimensional ink leaves a distinct impression. The finished look is a raised, line for a remarkable style feature that you can feel. Elevate the status of handwritten lettering on diy paper craft projects. Selected surfaces for eyecatching results are nonporous surfaces such as plastics, coated papers, acetate, vellums and glass. Light catches color when it is used on translucent and transparent surfaces. Layering color elements and texture for shine and depth is easy. Glaze 3dimensional ink resists water and can achieve the look of batik. Rubber stamp and paper craft projects benefit with accents of color and texture. Applicable for ceramic and glass accents, rubberstamping flourishes, sticker embellishments, wedding invitations, card making and bookmark texture, write or draw on most cds, batik effects and anywhere 3dimensional texture is desired. Technical qualities are transparent pigmented ink 0.8mm ball producing a 0.70mm bold line width, water resistant, dries to a glossy glaze look, performs best on nonporous matte surfaces, 45 to 60 second drying time, does not bleedthrough most papers and vellum, meets astm and acmi nontoxicity standards, not recommended for use on fabrics intended to be washed, on food service or ceramics that are washed, and not evaluated for cosmetic use on skin. I've been collecting gel pens for years and when I say I've never had pens like these, I mean it. They are bold lined and very pigmented. They can be used of a variety of surfaces like glass and plastic as well as paper. They have a glossy 3D appearance once dried. They're tons of fun to use. I use them for drawing, writing, coloring, and decorating random items(my phone case, my switch, etc) and I'll absolutely buy them again. They do have a bit of a long drying time but that's to be expected with a 3D effect. I will note that if you use too much in one spot when coloring, it can appear slightly cracked once it's dry. These are very much so worth the money and I highly reccomend anyone who loves a good juicy pen to try them! ... show more

I do a lot of multimedia art so if it is something I can use for my art, I'm all over it. I first ordered the black Sakura Glaze pen to try the product out and I really loved the way the ink stayed shiny, looking wet, so I decided to order this ten pack of Sakura Bright multi colors Glaze pens, and I'm crazy about them and how they add to my art. They glide on smoothly and evenly. They are not sheer but cover what is beneath them. They work on many materials (plastic, plexiglass, paper, metal) and standout overtop my watercolor, gouache, or acrylic backgrounds. They do take a little time (5-10. min) to completely dry on some materials but dry much quicker on my watercolor paper. I got the Bright color set which includes a pen that looks like it is white ink but in fact is clear to add gloss to without color. There are other color sets that I will have to try. ... show more

These pens are amazing. Different than any other pen I have ever used as they are almost like puff paint but smaller bc it's a pen if that makes sense. The ink dries looking very glossy and almost wet. If you love gel pens for crafting or coloring of any kind, these are a must try!!! This is nifty stuff! It writes just like a pen, fine lines, detailed dots, for a swatch a half inch square it filled in and dried smooth. No streaks or pen marks when dry. Drying time is a few minutes, dries smooth and glossy, not exactly shiny, not sparkly. Glossy, like the smooth plastic-feeling of a leatherette purse, but in this case, on paper! So I'm thinking, WHAT will I do with this?!?! It does dry slightly raised lines and dots, so I anticipate it will make great details on my coloring book page. Colors are nice. These are very unique pens. They really do give a unique almost 3D look. However, make sure you all enough time to dry it you will smudge your artwork and your hands. It writes smoothly like typical pens. I just wish it was less expensive.

I purchased the Bright Color 10 pack, in addition to the Basic Color 10 pack. The Bright set includes: clear #800, yellow #803, orange #805, red #819, pink #820, rose #821, purple #824, green #829, blue #836, and black #849. I also purchased the 6 pack, which was mislabeled. I mistakenly thought I would be getting 3 additional colors, not included in the two sets, but they were all duplicates. That is okay with me, though, as these pens are so much fun to use! I am sure I will put the extras to use, or share them with my daughters, the budding artists:) When you first receive your beloved Glaze pens, each one has a small plastic seal on the tip of the nib. Simply pull it off, and follow the instructions on the package. You may want to "get your pen going" on a scratch piece of paper, but I didn't really find this necessary. As stated, to achieve a raised effect, slowly move the pen, to get a nice ink flow. Don't rush! You can also achieve some really interesting, and pretty color combinations, by mixing inks, before they dry, which is about 20 seconds. To REALLY dry, I suggest a minute, if you have a heavy amount of ink. I have thoroughly enjoyed the Glaze pens, and have just gotten started!!! They have so many applications! Coloring, Zentangles, drawing, mixed media, glass, ceramic, etc. Also, they look fabulous on both light, and dark, surfaces! I am so happy I bought these, along with the Soufflés, to complete my Gelly Roll collection! Sakura makes some of my all time favorite pens, and the Glaze DO NOT disappoint! 10 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ... show more
