Pieces are not marked. Holes do not line up on several pieces. I started putting together and taking apart 4 times, trying to get pre-drilled holes to line up, and now I'm looking at making new holes to make it work. Very small and definitely not a good experience for kids. Frustrated with the product. UPDATE.. The company sent me a new unit, GREAT & FAST service! I am going to try putting it together this weekend and see if it is a better experience. Upgraded to 3 stars pending construction. ... show more

The package came with all components such as screws, wooden parts, stickers & screwdriver. It came with instructions but a little confusing at first. I tinted the wood since I felt like it was too light. Otherwise I love the birdhouse.
