I really wasn't sure if this plane would be worth its salt, but I was pleasantly surprised. There are a number of things about this to go over, so I'll just dive in with the most important one which is whether or not it's enjoyable to fly. For a novice like myself it actually is quite fun. The right stick has full range of motion so that you can direct the plane to climb or dive while banking right or left. It's really quite intuitive. The throttle control is a little bit confusing because it performs two functions. The first function is the speed of the plane and the second function is whether the plane is climbing or descending. This would probably annoy an actual pilot who would want to just simply adjust their angle of attack, etc. But for someone who's just toying around this is great. It also works quite well for a complete novice because real flight mechanics would make a plane very hard to fly and not crash. This one just flies. You don't really need to do anything to the control sticks and it'll fly. I did notice that mine tends to continue to pitch up so after while it's going to stall but I think it would then nose down and level off because of the automatic flight correction. That automatic flight correction which has a gyro to tell it which way it's oriented is really neat. I was flying around a parking lot and got outside of the area. I thought I was in and actually clipped a telephone wire and the plain tumbled violently and then just corrected itself and kept flying. I was quite amazed. I actually thought that it would fall down inside of the fence that I was flying over and I would have to then go and talk to the owners and spend a bunch of time to get it back. But actually it just righted it itself and, I don't know if this is part of the programming or not, but it continued flying in the direction it had been heading. That may have just been fluke, but who knows. One of the things that I find questionable as the two-speed option. There are these buttons that are supposed to change the speed from normal to fast or something like that. I couldn't discern even the slightest difference when pressing those buttons either in the way the plane appeared to be flying or in the sound of the propellers and motors. As far as I can tell, it didn't do anything, but who knows. I didn't have a radar gun to test it. On the remote there are some buttons that seem to indicate pressing them will adjust it’s straight level flight to a more right bank or more left bank and descending or ascending. I really couldn't tell if they made any difference though. Partly because it's a little bit breezy outside and partly because it's kind of far away and it's tough to tell. Maybe if I went into a really huge space where I could just let it fly straight I would be able to tell but so far I haven't done that. It is nice that the remote has a little knob for the antenna to stick out in which means it will have better connection to the plane. Also, the plane has a little antenna that sticks down about an inch so it should be able to receive much better as well. I didn't seem to have any loss of control of the plane due to communication and interruption between the remote and the plane. That was pretty nice. I think I got about 20 minutes out of the flight and honestly I thought it might have been longer per battery but I did not time it. It probably was about 20 minutes and then the remote started beeping at me, which I have no idea what it actually means, but I assumed it meant that the battery was low. The instruction book for this is a little lacking which I thought was surprising given the amount of effort they put into the marketing materials and the multiple languages the instruction booklet is printed in. In one of the pictures it shows the wings being bent very far and not breaking. I did not and will not be trying that. I can say that the multiple crashes I caused with this plane did not cause any damage to it other than minor abrasions. One thing that I find amusing but understandable is that the center propeller is just cosmetic. It doesn't do anything. That makes the plane look like a real plane. I think they kind of tried to hide the actual propellers that make the plane move by the color that they are. And that seems to work pretty well. I really had a nice time flying this and was able to smoothly land it with adjustments to the pitch and the throttle. I did that a whole bunch of times and then took off again. I do have a suggestion though. Because I flew this over an old asphalt parking lot with lots of cracks it didn't land well all of the time and that was why I caused some damage. I suggest you launch it by hand throwing it and land it in the grass. Or if you have a very smooth surface to land it on, you could try that. After I crashed it several times I decided to go to an area of the parking lot that was very smooth and I was able to land and take off there a bunch and that was really neat. But if you don't have that as an option, you really ought to hand launch and then land in the grass.

This plane solves almost every challenge you can encounter with RC planes—flight stability is amazing with gyro technology, extremely easy to fly, durable and forgiving even when it crashes. It comes with 2 batteries, easy to charge and last roughly 20 minutes or so depending on the wind. It is everything that the manufacturer said and so much more. It’s just so much fun, my 10 year old kid who never flown an RC before flew it within a matter of minutes, that’s how easy and fun this plane is. I highly recommend it, it’s the best value you could ever get, you can’t really put a price on the fun factor of this toy!
